Universal Waite Tarot Deck

Classic and traditional Tarot Deck. Good quality. Well packed (in plastic sleeve). Quick delivery. I have them as part of my esoteric collection of things. I find them beautiful and would make a nice gift to a friend interested in Tarot.

Beautiful, vibrant card colours. Great detail images what makes that set of cards easier to read. Faces and eyes of the characters are much more clear than on other sets of cards. Love the size as they are quite big! Wonderful and easy to look at - again, colours are really great and clear. Love them! Correct details on images. The Empress card has the right number of pearls and stars on it. Thin. Easy to carry with you in the pocket. Not as heavy as other traditional decks of cards. Quite light. Very easy to shuffle. A bit slippery. The package gets through the letterbox in the door as these cards are slightly thinner. Love these cards! 🫶

It’s the standard beginner deck - it’s however timeless - it’s the deck I began reading with a year ago (yes I waited a year for this review) I talk about the deck on my youtube channel = ‘Giulia is Moody’ in my tarot and oracle collection - the deck is still in great conditions despite constant use - this deck truly is timeless every time you pick it up you connect with it all over again , even if you have other decks - this decks is the perfect learning deck if you want to learn DO NOT LOOK FOR OTHER DECKS trust me do not go for other cute fancy ones buy the rider Waite smith if you are seriously trying to learn , it will make your life 100 times easier and help you keep up the motivation to learn each card - the Universal rider Waite is in my opinion the best out of all the versions of the rider Waite because it is the prettiest , the coloration is simple and balanced , saturated enough that it works harmoniously with everything IT’S A GREAT DECK I would just recommend you get this one , there is so much information online for this deck , if you are trying to learn it is the perfect deck for youuu 💕 hope this review helped thank you for reading (the cards look slightly more saturated and lighter in real life compared to my pictures , they look more harmonious - it was the lighting)

This is the 2017 deck. I have an original 1990 deck and in comparison the 90’s card stock is superior. This deck is noticeable thinner and more of a paper feel than the plastic feel of the earlier deck. I thought I would love the paper like deck and while I have found they do riffle very well, they do feel a little too thin. On a more positive side the cards feel very good in the hand (as card stock is less than the 90’s deck they are not as big in the hand so better for smaller hands) and once shuffled for an hour the new card glaze is roughened up to prevent them slipping and sliding and can riffle with ease. The colours are great, nice and clear and crisp. In summation these cards are a great beginner deck but not an ideal replacement for the 90’s deck

Card printing is good, box is suitable to protect the cards. The card stock feels a little tougher than normal cards. I feel that the cards are on the bigger side, so shuffling them like a normal set of cards is awkward, and I have bigger hands. I assume this is standard for most Tarot cards. The booklet that comes with it is rudimentary, and I'd recommend either buying a supplementary book or using a Tarotmancy website. A good pick if you prefer the more traditional printing and like good quality printing on your cards.

I have purchased this item as my first Tarot deck. Here are some of the pros and cons of this item. PROS: quality paper type, bright and vivid drawings, nice back design, includes an instruction booklet with introduction and basic divinatory meanings of all cards. CONS: size. Overall, it is a really nice deck with all it's best for beginners to learn and connect with, analyze and spot every detail of drawings, BUT because of it's size it is hard to shuffle as I have small hands, so owners of small hands keep in mind it.

I have a massive collection of tarot decks, and l love a lot of them , but this is my favourite. It is just perfect, the quality, the size, everything. It is what we call an authentic tarot deck. I have more then one of this deck. In my opinion US Games are the best cards makers, no one has such quality. When you have this deck in your hands the pleasure to hold it is just pure joy. It doesn't matter if this deck will be your first tarot in life, the only one, or the last one, you must have this Universal Tarot by US Games.

I had my old cards for many years and I was finding that with their age they were sticking together and I was not able to shuffle them properly. I am delighted with these new cards, not only are the surfaces lovely and smooth with being new but the colours are lovely and bright and clear. So pleased I purchased them.
