Good sound at a good price.
I am no audiophile, not even close, but I do listen to vinyl and that is how I'm using these speakers. I also don't speak audiophile. I don't know sound stage, ambiance, bloat, bloom, coloration, imaging or any of that esoterica. If that's your aural love language, scroll on by. I do know whether or not I like what I hear and I like the noises coming out of these speakers when the vinyl is spinning, the needle is down and the amp is up. I have a fairly large room, combined LR/DR, hardwood floors and a couple of rugs. It is pretty bright. The records I play, classical-to-jazz-to-rock-to-hillbilly, sound very good, to me, through these speakers, in that room. That said, there are limits. They sounded noticeably better after 30-40 hours of use, and given their size it should be no surprise that they lack strong bass, which I've addressed with a powered bass speaker (they call it a sub-woofer, but honestly...). I like the looks. It isn't real wood, but these synthetic veneers have gotten very realistic, and heavy MDF probably makes for a better sound anyway. Very easy to set up and I like the screw post connectors as I use a heavy gauge speaker wire. I don't know why. For me, for my purposes, and to my ear these are great little speakers. If you like keeping it simple and affordable these might be the speakers for you.

Great speaker at a great price
These speakers have an awesome tone to them, they are very natural and punchy sounding. I can sit and listen to music for hours. I use these speakers in a 2.1 system, they are great for viewing movies and tv shows. These speakers look great, the cabinets are very nice and the magnetic grill blend into the overall style very well. I feel like these speakers are a great option at this price. I am driving these speakers with a Yamaha A-S301 integrated amp.

Impressed and recommended. Proper hi-fi not toys.
I’ve had these speakers (BR03) about 2 weeks now and run them every day to settle them in. Overall summary: I love the sound, looks and price. No complaints at all. I am impressed. I am not sure what is going to be better at this price point, likely nothing at all. Triangle have real pulled out a fantastic product line with this range. I’ve not heard the rest but if I need bigger floor standers I’d surely consider the larger models and the BR02 looks like a good option for a smaller space. Basically you are getting a very decent hi-fi speaker for the price similar to a lot of average generic plastic desktop speakers. Audio wise I describe these as accurate, dynamic, clean and crisp. The highs are precise and the detail in the midrange highlighted in some tracks things I never heard before. The bass is well controlled and not overpowering. I tend to like a warmer more low end sound but these are well balanced and the bass is so tight it really shines on the details and timbre rather than a lot of strong low end notes of no discernible qualities. In other words less is more here, because it’s surely quality over just quantity. If you are like me, you will enjoy listening to music on these again. My background, I’ve always been into hifi. Had many systems and countless pairs of speakers in the last, some in the several thousand dollar range. In that context it is amazing I am so enamoured with these and enjoy them so much. The magnetic grills, grill cloth and general looks is all really nicely done in my opinion. Points of note, for bookshelf speakers these are not tiny, especially they are quite deep, check your measurements if this matters. There is no Bi-wiring on the 03 but check the larger 04 if this is vital for you. Use feet, stands or isolation for best results. Don’t place too close together. Have them angles so they are not directly face on to you. My sources were both analog vinyl and 24bit 192-384Khz lossless flac via audiophile dac and separate hifi amplifiers. Which reminds me to add, these seem fairly efficient and easy to drive, you won’t need a mega amp although they like any speakers can only sound as good as the sources and what feeds them. Even a modest 25W RMS amp (true power) would really get these going pretty loud. After some more time listening I wanted to add: a) have enjoyed listening to music again with these and b) the timbres revealed in the lows mids and highs really shines clarity on the recordings. You can hear the bass notes with tone and timbre, not just boom boom boom and the highs, cymbals have character. The midrange is full of clarity and vocals and instruments are really well separated and cohesive. Highly recommended at full price, an absolute steel when on sale. Well done Triangle!

Great speakers
I recently replaced my entire stereo system. As I had bought a turntable and I decided to upgrade my receiver, my CD player, and my speakers. I was looking for mid range price speakers that would sound good and these fit the bill. It was important to me that thay be hardwired to my receiver as I want my vinyl to be analog not digital. They look great and sound wonderful. I'm no HiFi buff, but these gave me what I wanted, great sound, good bass, nice treble, clean sound. Very happy to replace my 30 yr old Yamaha speakers with these. These should last me another decade or three.

Don’t buy these
All the drivers broke on the speaker within one year. When you call for the warranty, it is obvious that no one knows what’s going on because they are French company, and they outsource it to an American company to try and fix their speakers. Don’t buy in this price range.

Amazing budget speaker!
These speakers are gorgeous and sound fantastic. They are a great value at $350 and I highly recommend them. Audio has come a long way ! Happy to be an audiophile in 2024. Paired these with a Rotel power amplifier, Denafrips Aries 12th DAC and Monolith THX subwoofers streaming Tidal from a THX certified streamer. Update: Paired these with the Reisong A12 from Amazon as well, and the results were fantastic. Highly recommended, again!

The bookshelves are not too bad for the price. Mind you, the speakers will eventually break in and the sound will change, but out of the box, they sound decent. Speakers were tested with Exposure electronics, Audioquest speaker cables, Teralabs interconnects, shunyata power cord, room acoustic treatment, and finally a modified 6wpc tube integrated.
