Joyluxy Vs890 Universal Obd2 Eobd CAN BUS Fault Code Scanner Diagnostic

NOTE**** These are older units no longer supported by the Autel - the manufacturer. This in no way means they do not work however if you go to the website listed in the manual - [...]you cannot find this unit ANYWHERE. This means you cannot update it, register it or get info on it and there is nothing anywhere about updates either in the manual . Apparently these are new old stock. It is a good unit so far but I wil be sure that my next one is a current model. This one says right in the software that it is from 2008. The only place i find anything about software updates is in the description here and on the outside of the box which also says it should have a cd inside...it doesn't. It is also confusing because the manufacturer is Autel, the unit is called here Joyluxy VS890, the box and unit says Vgate VS600, and in the manual it refers to MS509 but the cover of the manual says VS600. The manual also says the display is backlit - it isn't. I don't regret the purchase but it isn't really the tool I thought I was getting. Basically seems to be good for a mid level DIY person as it does do live data and saves. Would do print if the software was still available but it isn't.

Used it a few times and works fine. Showed oxygen sensor fault. I replaced them, cleared code, saved about $100.

says it has a battery can't even replace it all one piece case windos can't find device driver for it no where on internet must be pluged in to car for it to work

It is one fine piece of equipment. Told me it was the mass air filter cleaned it problem solved.

Saved me a diagnostic trip to the mechanic! Vgate Scan alerted me that my catalytic converter was out of whack and malfunctioning. I'm no car expert, but this is the best automative tool I've yet to purchase!

This scanner is a great product for someone like me who has no knowledge of cars. This scanner registers all the problems that's wrong with my car. The is a great investment definetly worth the price .
