Gerber Shard XL 6-in-1 EDC Keychain Multitool,Bottle Opener,Stainless Steel

Great piece of kit to keep on hand, carried it for a few years before I busted it prying on something it had no business prying on, would buy again

The Gerber Shard XL is exactly the tool i needed for every day carry. Twice i have found myself in need of a mini pry bar but as fate would have it i didn't have one. Mama didn't raise a fool, so I'm now prepared the next time the opportunity presents itself to use this tool. At 2.4 ounces it's not as light as far more expensive titanium alternatives, but being made out of stainless steel it is more than ample to get the job done. I definitely needed one with a pocket clip. It's versatility on the things it can do checked all of my boxes. So when I saw the Shard on sale at Amazon I jumped all over it. it is one of the best tools you think you'll never use but will be so glad you have it. Fork out a few dollars and save the blade tips on your knives that shouldn't be used to pry things in the first place. Well done Gerber!

This tool is made very well but if you’re thinking of using it instead of a knife you may be disappointed. I sharpened one edge just a bit to be more useful. It will open packages now. I think it’s a great tool to carry so you aren’t prying on your pocket knives but it’s not a replacement for a pocket knife. Depending on how you look at it, it’s a nice addition or it’s one more thing to carry. I think you should definitely try it if you find yourself using your other everyday carry things as a pry tool.

This is a handy tool to use when I might otherwise risk breaking a pocket knife to pry something apart. It seems to be well made and is basically unnoticeable clipped to my pocket next to a knife.

Solid. Strong. Has not let me down. Has cracked many cold ones in the mountains and will continue to be put to the test in the woods !

Does exactly what it looks like it does. Good little pry tool, compact, fits pocket carry comfortably. However, I would prefer 1/2 - 1” longer which would be make it twice the tool, and hardly affect the carry ability.

Working in hvac this tool has been great

This is the third one I buy, kind of expensive on Amazon but I love this product I have 2 in various edc kits and one I put in my kitchen to open jars works perfect for that and opening bottles. If you need a tiny prybar for an edc kit I highly recommend it.

Simple, sturdy pry bar. I get a bit more use out of the NiteIze DoohicKey I keep on my keychain, because the best tool is always the one you have, but it's very sturdy, and has survived more than one run through the laundry.
