Cangshan1027082 Acacia Kneading Board, 24x30x1"

Beautifully crafted board, not sure if i should use it or display it. I am thinking both when it is not in use. The grain is just stunning.If you are looking for an oversized dough board to work with, this is ideal. Hooks onto my counter very well with the lip. I liked the larger size so 2 people can work on the board and at the same time. Kids or Grandkids will have their work space with you too.Just a heads up though, dont expect to start to use your board as soon as you get it, i did. You will need to season the board before you start to use it, which I did not know, so order the mineral oil with it. You will need to apply the oil 1x a day for 7 days, before using your board.I am just using an old rag to apply, don't feel the sponge applicators are necessary, even though I did get them. I like the rag to apply better. You are able to apply the oil with more pressure to absorb into the wood.I have not used it with flour yet, have to oil it first. So not sure how the flour will stick or not stick after seasoning.I will try and revisit this review after I get the seasoning part complete and am able to dive in utilizing the board for what I bought it for.

This is an excellent design and should have been perfect and worthy of Mr. Keller's name.Unfortunately we bought it through Amazon and the product arrived in poor condition.We cannot determine if that was the fault of Cangshan or Amazon.It was scratched, dented,water damaged and dried out.Amazon offered a refund but for us we had a 3 hour trip to collect and return,so it simply wasn't a solution.They had no flexibility for the friendly and helpful frontline person (Priya) to employ.All in all a great disappointment and surely not one Mr Keller would be pleased to see.

The only flaw was at some point there were finger prints sealed on it. I would guess when they applied the sealant. We will hit it with food grade Mineral oil and see what happen. Otherwise a beautiful piece!

Arrived and packaged beautifully. I LOVE this board. Very substantial weight and solid. Just beautiful. I cannot wait to use it. Generational piece!

My Mom had a dough board and I always wanted one. To have one made was way out of my budget. I saw this one on sale and knew it was the one for me. I am very happy with this purchase. Well made, has weight to it, quality should make it last for generations like my Mom's did. I plan to buy another one for a gift.

I was soo excited when it came. Boxed safely with styrofoam around. But as seen in the pictures, it’s not even and kinda discolored and that part is rough. Won’t even be thinking return/exchange since it’s quite happy. I was hopping with the price tag, it would have been better than this.

My wife loves it. The edges make it easy to put on a mat on the counter too
