The base
A sturdy stool until you try to get on, it slides due to the so called plastic ringed base, it would have been better designed with a rubber ringed base to stop it moving as you get on,. It's ok on carpet.

DO NOT BUY
I have had this stool for less than a year, and already it has become faulty. Obviously due to poor workmanship, the welding at the base of the stool has cracked, making the stool so wobbly that it is unsafe to sit on. I take very good care of my everything in my home, so for this to happen in a matter of months is a clear indicator of poor quality.To make matters worse, the customer service from this seller is absolutely appalling, who recommended I get the stool ‘fixed locally’ - a part replacement should have been the bare minimum to be offered.I was fooled to begin with, but when you buy cheap you buy twice. DO NOT BUY.

Poorly welded garbage that wont hold up to daily use.
first the food rest broke of because of a bad weld.then the base that was just tack welded on broke of...The welding on this product is absolutely garbageIt broke completely a month ago or so... it did not even last a year!
