As with all the Roland Boutique accessories, it's a bit pricey for what you get. On the other hand, it does the job perfectly, and maintains the uniformity of the range.

£80 for a piece of cheap plastic that probably cost less than a pound to make in China, I don't think so.2 of my boutiques came with this case but my SH-01A didn't, Roland told me -"All the boutique synths that back in the day would have been keyboard instruments do not come with a DK-01. This is so customers can choose to have the K-25m or not. This would be the case for your SH-01A as the SH-101 was a keyboard instrument.Likewise, all the drum machines and TB-03 that were not keyboard instruments all come with a DK-01 dock. This is the case for your TR and TB."Yeah I didn't buy an overpriced K-25m either, my Keystep 37 is far more versatile.
