Cosipet Trouser Suit, 16-inch/ 41 cm, Red

Excellent product for the money.I have tried several of this style of coat and this is by far the best.Do not bother with the similar Kerbl coat - it's rubbish in comparison. I have had three and they don't last five minutes - also the legs are too short.I have a Welsh Springer and the size 18 is perfect. The legs are a good length, the zip is good quality as well as sturdy (unlike the Kerbl) and the rear works well to keep clear for No.1 or 2.The only downside is that the cloth is a bit stiff so it rustles when the dog walks. Mine was hesitant to start with, but after a few minutes was ok. If your dog is nervous they may not like it.

I bought this for my Cocker Spaniel who loves to get wet and muddy - don't they all?! My dog was between the 16" & 18" size range. I erred on the side of caution & bought the bigger size. Although it's rather baggy on Bella the extra material makes it easy to put it onto an excited dog as you have to put their legs into the sleeves & zip it at the top. It doesn't hinder or bother her when she's outside. However, I think the 16" would probably fit her better. As other reviewers have said, the legs are rather long & I have to roll them up a bit. I'm sure the shorter legged version would have fitted Bella better. However, Cockers have small paws and Bella is used to having her paws handled, so she's very happy to allow me to guide her paws though the elastic cuffs. The cuffs need to be tight otherwise they wouldn't keep the wet out! I haven't tried to wash it, but rinse it out when we get home from a walk & it dries quickly over the bath. One other advantage is that when she finds something disgusting to roll in the suit takes most of the 'damage'. LOL!

I have had 2 issues with this product. Firstly, I purchased the 35cm back length outfit, as my dog's back measures 34cm, however the item was at least an inch and a half too long. It also states on this size that it is suitable for a border terrier, so I tried this on my border terrier, however it was also too small for him. Fortunately this fit on my friend's king charles cavilier, so i sold it to her.I then purchased the next size down, which fit perfectly. I was incredibly happy with the product, as it kept mud and water off completely. However, less than a week from when this was delivered, and after only 3 uses, the zip has broken, as pictured above. I will now have to return this product, and hope for a full refund.

Well if you see my other reviews you'll see my frustrating journey of trying to find a reasonably priced rain proof jumpsuit for a 20kg collie.On the face of it this one looked to be the same as the Geyecete1/2 Leg Trouser Suit, made in China (of which I had to return two due to being ridiculously oversized).However its not. Other than the sizing of the cuffs it's quite different is some ways.The Geyecete1/2 Leg Trouser Suit was a slightly different material, perhaps thinner, but had a sort of lining which I liked. The cuffs were loose and didn't feel at all tight and the legs were very long. The zip was sturdy.This Cosipet Trouser Suit is a slightly thicker material and is made in the UK which is great. No lining, but as I say material is thicker; the sizing appears the same (Big! Legs very long!) The cuffs are really quite tight. They are just about acceptable on my 20kg collie, but I will have to monitor them to make sure they don't rub. The length also means I've had to fold them over like shirt sleeves. I think they will stay in place because the elastic is tight.To help you, my collie's lower front legs at the widest bit measure about 11cm around.If you have a dog with arthritic feet or very large paws you could struggle.I would say the material would cope well with making adjustments if you wanted to trim and sew your own cuffs as it's a reasonable thickness.The zip seems ok, but not quite as sturdy looking as the other brand.Overall, this is a Size Large and it's a pretty good fit other than really long in the legs.It covers the belly and legs really well and even most of the back of the hind legs. I will keep it as it's the best I've found (that didn't come in a silly colour that would embarrass a serious collie!) and a sensible price. I didn't want to pay fifty pounds for something I will only use on the very muddiest of wet walks when we dont have time to clean off or it's really cold.I will update if we have any durability issues.Overall, it's a good fit for a 20kg collie, but the legs are very long - could be ideal of you have a lanky pooch! The cuffs are tight fitting so please be aware of that. It's a shame they have not added adjustable velcro or popper cuffs, but I guess this would increase the cost a fair bit. The concept of this suit is great and the fabric is perfect for dogs that get hot as it is showerproof but not warm. However, despite measuring the dogs girth, legs and back span and selecting the appropriate size it is far too big. The dog could not walk in it due to the size and excess material. He was quite distressed having it put on so a picture was not taken. I would have liked to exchange for a smaller one but the return options do not allow for that so had to return. The measurements on the product description are not accurate. If ordering this I would order 2 sizes smaller. NB this should replace my previous review that had inaccurate return info on, thanks

Brilliant. Keeps my cockapoo dry. I even love the sound of when he walks with it on! A proper shell suit!Good quality, and lasts years. This is the second one I bought after 4 years.
