Absolutely fantastic. Well worth the money. I used it to join a 10 meter square netting to steel cable stretching across my pond area to protect the fish from being killed and eaten by herons. So now I walk under the netting and the whole area is now 100% protected from the herons.

Brilliant bit of kit and easy to use No jams or problems except that the yellow plastic handle lock piece can fall off Made the fence repair job much easier than expected

I’ve used various hog rings pliers on farm: which means using hour after hour putting hundreds or thousands of hog rings through the pliers. These work very well. Comfortable, easy to use and jam/miss infrequently. But these are a disposable tool. They’ll not outlast a box of rings with the plastic magazine plunger quickly wearing so budget one pair of pliers every few thousand rings

Great FP222 pliers for clipping a chain link fence to the tension wires. Unfortunately I stretched the chain link a bit tight which made clipping more difficult than necessary but job done. Bought with the FP20 pliers which proved essential for tightening about 25% of the hog rings. When using check which side has the metal guide and use the guide to press the chain link onto the tension wire. Working in bays between the posts. Clip the bottom wire first. Then the top wire which stretches the chain link up and finally the middle wire. Clipping every 4th link gives a nice tight fence.

Firstly I ordered this on the 16th and it was here on the morning of the 18th fantastic delivery speed! The tool is simple and with that comes useful simplicity. I purchased the P222 with the galvanised VR22 hog rings in addition to the tool as it does not come with any. The tool loaded with ease and the grips for delivering the pinch for the ring were comfortable I crimped over 150 hog ties in around 15 minutes leaving me feeling satisfied with the job it had just completed and baffled that I could have spent a day doing the same job by hand. I purchased the tool to help me complete the construction of a chicken run by hog tying the anti fox skirt to the bottom run of chicken wire. The chicken wire was 20mm so the holes were very small for fitting the tool in but holding it on the angle I found it managed to easily catch both wires and hog ring them, the rings were loose on the two wires but securely holding the two wire sections together. So it did the job perfectly. The only thing i did not like was the safety catch on the bottom got in the way sometimes whilst trying to close hog rings, so I popped it off, and re secured it at the end of the job.

What rabbit proof fence?! ........ They jump over it, climb up it, bite through it so what is the point...... well, it keeps most of them out and I humanely trap and re-locate the sneaky ones. Years ago I spent hours cleating the fine mesh 'rabbit proof' fence to the tensioned wire one... and it was fiddly back-hurting work and now those plastic cleats are just breaking with age/weathering so after happening upon a professional fencer using one of these i thought it too good to be true.... Its not... yeh... it is true...they are fantastic, even low down on the fence where the grass has grown up they clip through the foliage. After a bit of practice I can fit one of the galvanized staples (they fit in the Rapid like staple and end up doubling over like the ring of a key ring) in secounds. So five stars all the way for a product that's well made , comfortable to use and such a time saver. ....I will have more uses for it other than the fence..... for starters a fruit cage is now in the planning.

We put up a 6 foot tall, 200 foot long chainlink fence this year and probably would have given up if not for this super tool. It saved our hands, our time and our sanity. We bought the 1000 pack of hogtie rings to go with these pliers and used all of them, so I can definitely say the pliers are good for 1000 applications and they look good for many more. Definitely recommend.

I bought this to connect two sheets of chicken wire together. The unit itself is easy to use. It jams a little more than I would like which wastes a few clips, but it is still 100x quicker than any other manual method that I can think of to securely do the task.

De momento las he usado para unas reparaciones en una verja, funciona bastante bien, solo un pequeño problema, según la posición que tienes que poner la grapa, estorba un poco el canal portagrapas, todo no puede ser perfecto, por lo demás, contento con el resultado de la compra.
