Tilda's Fairy Tale Wonderland
As an avid Tilda fan I was so excited to hear that another book was due to be published. My daughters bought this for me as my Mother's Day present, and I have to say, it met the high standards that Tone ( the designer ) always gives us.This is one of her larger books, and is full of lovely figures from story's such as "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" to name just a few. There are lots of gorgeous projects, suitable for the the beginner right to the advance. The book is beautifully illustrated in colour, and all of the projects are well explained and have the full sized pattern! No trying to enlarge by 100% or 200% with Tilda!Yet another must have!Bargain price at Amazon.... I would advise any sewing fan to buy it as it is such good value and as long as you have suitable fabric and cotton, you are ready to go!

A Book With a VERY Happy Start, Middle and Ending !!!!
Good value and a great read. The Princess and the Pea projects are FABULOUS.I have read this book so many times, I never tire of the beautiful projects and photography used through out.Pinnochio's nose looks just a little 'odd' but cute all the same. Without wanting to sound nose-ist ... I'm not sure I like the 'noses' on the tilde angels either, but you can make them without. I've made the Ballerina, with her wired arms and ballet shoes, she's so pretty. The tin soldier is ideal for Christmas as is the Nutcracker Soldier. The stockings on the sleepy princess is a lovely alternative to boots and shoes. You will want to make everything in the book .... guaranteed !

Beautiful Book
After a disappointing Tilda's Studio I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was, I really love the book. Lots of lovely projects to try in Tone's usual easy to understand instructions, pretty fabrics and overall a smashing book. I would buy this even if I thought I may not make anything from it.

Some lovely patterns
I have a number of books by this author already, and thought that this was a nice addition to the series. I have already made some of the projects in the book. A couple of the instructions were hard to follow, but I managed to solve the issues in the end.

This book is out of print, so you are buying a 'print on demand' copy.
The copy I received was a 'print on demand' book, which, whilst it is an exact copy of the original publishers book, I felt that the quality of the pages and the cover were not what I was expecting. The photographs, especially, were not as crisp as you would see in the original printed copy.I did contact the publishers who confirmed that rather than the book be 'out of print' they felt it better to be available in this version, than not at all.I will be keeping the book, but would rather have known before that it wasn't an original publishers copy, as I was a little disappointed with it. Luckily, it wasn't a gift.

Tilda never fails to impress
This book is up to the excellent standard we expect from Tilda products. The instructions are clear, the illustrations and photos are beautiful both in their content and their display. I loved the ballerina and the toy soldier and I think I may make several soldiers with more traditional red coats for Christmas. That's the beauty of Tonne Finnangers designs, you can change fabrics from the pinks, greys and soft greens etc to more striking brights and it gives a whole new look to the projects. I just love this book!
