Firstly, I got a lot more than I anticipated. I suspect it was a delivery error, but I got a package of 50 of these, instead of the 5 I expected.They seem to work fine. I repaired a couple of lamp cords with them. Getting the slid-on part on is difficult. It is a tight fit (maybe my lamps' cords were not quite "standard"?). I used a few taps from a small plastic mallet. If using these outside, I'd think about adding a (very) little silicone to seal-up the joints just to keep water from accumulating inside. Keeping the cord/plug polarization correct takes a little attention. The vampire tap teeth are very small looking--take care to watch the amp rating and not use these for anything other than low-wattage lights, etc. Of course, if using SP1 lamp cord, that should already be true.

These are so easy to use however are very pricey so if you have time you can buy male plug from big box for <.50 and do it old fashioned way. The female ones that go anywhere along the line are truly great and worth the money

These were exactly what I needed to rework a Christmas lighting project.

Very easy to use. Just open the slide and put the wire in, close the slide and the electrical connection is automatically done. It’s similar to wiring landscape lights

I got the male, female, and inline connectors. I was able to instal all my lights making it look like a professional did with these connectors. Of course you’ll need the same cord (used as an extension) to make it all clean but with these connectors I was able to get everything done with no issues. I used a set of channel locks or pliers to close the top piece on the connector because at times it was a little tough to close

Like these plugs. I started doing non-stack Christmas yard decor and these make it great for getting light strings the right length, it looks better when every thing is even with out extra wads of lights here and there.

Works good, just wish the had the smaller blade on both. these are for use with holiday lights which don't except the wider blade.

These plugs do not hold a bare wire to a contact. Furthermore, the plugs are polarized, which is not the case for the receptacles on any of the various Christmas lights I have purchased over the years.
