If a person places 2 of these lenses a few inches away from each other in a tube, will it work like a monoscope?

A monoscope was a kind of tv pattern generator used to tune a tv system 30 years ago, so they don't. If you mean a telescope, you could place two of this lenses in a tube about 28 inch apart, with a magnification of about 2.5, so it just work as a demo, not a practical telescope.

are they labeled, like which one is concave and which one is convex?

They are not labeled, but the convex lenses are thicker in the center, with thinner edges. The concave lenses have thinner centers and thicker edges.

Could I use these to magnify the image from a cheap movie projector?

Has not been tested for that application, feel free to give it a shot though; if optical lenses do that, then these are optical lenses.

Would these work to make a simple refracting telescope??

In theory yes, but please be careful in reviewing focal length ratios to ensure that the tube length is reasonable.

Great lenses for straightforward, simple optics experiments. Sturdy enough to not worry that folks will break them. Polished edges keep fingers safe.

No problems. The items were as expected. The diameter of the lenses is about 49.75mm, so, they have a tolerance of around 0.25mm or about a thousandth of an inch, which is expected and perfect for fitting them to my 50mm lens holders. They have some chromatic aberration (also expected since they aren't coated), but this was not a big problem for small angles. Good quality glass, no bubbles and no perceived astigmatism so far.
