I bought this as a replacement to cat brush that had a silicone and plastic handle. The previous brush broke within 6 months where the silicone and plastic met.This brush is far more sturdy and the cats love it.

It pulled the fur out but didn’t always catch it all , and what didn’t get caught by the brush floated around in the air, but did like the idea of the fur disc easily disposed

My cat went crazy over this brush, he loves it. The brush itself is pretty good for the price paid, and it removed a lot of hair. I gave 4 stars because it doesn't catch all of the hair that it removes, so I had cat hair all over me, floating through the air, just everywhere.
