I really love this stuff. I received my first order on a Friday and by Saturday I was re-ordering. This will be a splurge because it’s expensive but one I’ll allow myself once a month or so.The flavor is good - not exceptional - but good! It’s sweet, as teriyaki is - but not too sweet which has turned me off on that flavor over the years. It’s just right. The flavor is in a crumbly powder form on the cuts of vegan jerky - do not fear - each bite packs plenty to satisfy your taste buds. It’s slightly slightly slightly moist - moist enough to stick to the chunks of soy goodness.Texture. It’s tough and thick and chewy. THIS IS WHAT I LOVE THE MOST about this product. While I’ve had some delicious vegan jerky’s - the texture is always a fail - generally being extremely soft and airy. Not Unisoy - Unisoy provides thick cut bites that you’ll be chewing on for a bit. I can’t get enough of it. Instead of eating a bunch of crumbly fluffy pieces and feeling teased instead of satiated - this is a vegan jerky that won’t let me eat the whole bag in one sitting (I’m a fierce snack-a-holic). It also takes longer to eat (due to the chewing) so my stomach has time to get the message that it’s had enough. I really really like this brand.The price is a bummer. Basically over $7 per bag - it won’t be a weekly staple for me which most of my favorite snacks are. It’s pretty much on par with vegan jerky pricing so I have to say that.It shipped promptly. It tastes good. The texture and chewiness are as close to actual jerky as you’re gonna get. I highly recommend this product.

We tried the variety and I liked the Carne Asada and the Smokey Chipotle, bother were enjoyable, but when I tried the Pineapple Habanero I knew that was the one I would buy again, right away. I was only able to get two small pieces, as everyone else in the house ate the bag before I could get to it.The texture was great, my only negative is I wish it had more habanero. I love that habanero taste, as well as the heat, but I would like more of either, or both if possible.Either way, best one of the best vegan jerkies I have had. WIll buy again.EDIT 2024.09.05 : I just wanted to add that not only is the jerky great, the customer service went above and beyond. In today's world, this type of attention to customer experience is seldom a priority and when you do come across it, it should be given its due recognition. You have earned my customer loyalty for life.

If you are vegan or plant-based you won’t regret getting these! I had received a sample and was hooked. They are a great snack. Sometimes I cut them up and add to a salad. Very flavorful and easy for taking on the road when traveling.

As a vegetarian for over ten years now, beef jerky is something I occasionally crave as it was one of my favorite meat-based products before I went vegetarian. I have tried many brands of vegetarian jerky before and this one is the best by far. It is so chewy and I love the spicy flavors, especially Hot n Spicy and Black Pepper!

We liked 5 of the 6 flavors. Are favorite was the peppered one. Then the hot and spicy one whcoh was good. The spicy chipotle was extremely spicy but good. The teriyaki was good. I loved the Carne asada one because I am a fan of cumin. The pineapple was not good.

We were incredibly saddened by the news that our previous favorite veg jerky (beyond) is now discontinued. We had tried a few we found at the grocery store. Either they were very spongy or a weird texture or a weird taste... Sadness continued as we continued to search.Finally I stumbled upon the right reddit post and it suggested unisoy. From the product pictures it looked like the same texture as beyond... We took the leap.My life has changed. The texture is better than beyond. The taste is better. The flavor options are better. My life is better!Teriyaki flavor is perfect- not too sweet, no strange after tasteBlack pepper- has a kick but incredibly tasty and not over poweringI have since purchased the 6 pack with all flavors offered. Thank you, unisoy- this is exactly what we needed.

I have tried a lot of vegetarian jerky brands over the years. This brand is by far the best, it’s not salty, like rubber and has flavor. My children argue over who finished the bag!

This has an obvious soy or perhaps gluten under flavor which is off-putting for me. It smells like a dog treat and that is all i can imagine when I am eating it. I purchased the Black Pepper flavor and at first gluten/soy bite it is 1. Tough and chewy. and 2. Sweet. Why on earth are people making jerky sweet if it isn't teriyaki?? I would expect teriyaki to be sweet, but not the classic Black Pepper.This one is a big NO for me. I guess my pup will be getting some unisoy treats later.
