Cartrend 75568 Daytona Wheel Trims, Set of 4, Black / Silver, 15 inches

I bought two sets of wheel trims for my mum's Citroen C1 and these were by far the better purchase. The other ones, in case anyone was wondering, was ASIN: B06Y1164J6 (Versaco RAPIDENCBS15) and they just don't stand out as much as these. The silver on these is definitely bold and the shaping / design of the wheel trims give it that sporty boy / girl racer look.I bought some stickers off eBay for cheap to fit the middle - you want stickers that are no larger than 55mm really (mine are 40mm and leave a gap around, but nobody's really going to look that long) for this particular model of wheel trims.Installation was simple but the factory original Citroen spec wheel trims which were scuffed up, definitely held onto the wheel hubs better and that was without a metal wire.I did use one or two cable ties per wheel when installing these new wheel trims - last thing you want is to get halfway to where you're going and then seeing one fall off to the side as you're driving.Pictures are a before and after - obviously.Obviously different cars (even wheels) will have different results, but I had to leave the air nozzle for one tyre "outside where it's supposed to be" given the gap made in the wheel trims was essentially "squashing" the nozzle a bit - no drama. That tyre was different to the others on the vehicle anyway (might have something to do with it).So far it's a good purchase. I wouldn't really pay any more than £35-40 for a full set of wheel trims as after that you're just throwing away money when the bling factor isn't worth it.These arrived in five days from somewhere abroad - I think they were sent from Germany - so that's not bad either.I'll update this review in due time if necessary.

Let’s face it, most plastic wheel trims look decidedly naff. These look better than average and from a reasonable distance just like alloys. They were better quality than I expected, nice and supple so easy to put on without cracking, just go steady and remember it is still plastic! Really good value too. Makes my very dull car look almost sporty, well perhaps less dull!

We fitted these on my son's 2011 fiesta and they look brilliant. Theyre good quality and easy to fit too.

Only 4 star as pretty expensive compared to others.However it does seem sturdy, I've had ones in the past that are too flimsy and break easily. Thought it looked a little cheap when I took it out of the box but once it's on, it looks great, much better than expected.

These rims made a massive improvement on the overall look of my car, why spend £400+ on alloys when you can buy these for a bargain of a price.Easy to assemble.. Put a metal wire through plastic holes on the interior of the rim then gently tap onto the rim..Remember (TAP) them onto the rim.. These are plastic not metal.. If you kick this plastic hard it's obviously going to snap.If you're worried about someone stealing these rims you can always cable tie them to the metal wheel behind.

Easy to put together and look really nice. The edge broke off on one of them for about an inch long and 1/4 inch deep when banging it on with my palm.

Loving The New Wheel Trims! The olds I had on there were already on the car when I purchased it, they needed an upgrade due to the old ones being clipped, scratched due to me getting too close to the curb! 🙈 The new ones look so much better and what a difference it makes! They were easy to put on just watched a video on YouTube 😁

I scoured amazon for model specific wheel trims. Having found what must have been the most expensive ones out there, I ordered them in good faith. Received them and having fully read the fitting instructions( choice of 2 positions for the securing wires), I fitted them.The first position was too loose & the alternative position was better. But on inspection, the edge of the trim was 6mm proud of the wheel rim. After removal, it looks like the mounting lugs are way to deep to fit the rim. The only possible way to fix was the removal of the wire rim & mount with 4 cable ties per trim. My second concern, was the quality of the paint finish..not finished on the leading edges (looks like over spray) . For something at this price point, I would have expected better. Sadly...Disappointed. PG Lordan
