Solved my problem with our exercise bike. Too old to get replacement parts; these work fine.

Well made, but no M5 washers. Instead, M4 (perhaps M3.5)
The washers are well made. I have six of the M8 sized washers in use, and am very satisfied with them. However, the smallest washers in the bag I received, labelled in the description as M5, are actually M4 or maybe even M3.5 - see photo. My attempt to use them for an M5 screw stretched their outer diameter beyond 10mm, and damaged the delicate equipment I was assembling. I separated all the washers, and it turns out there are no M5 washers at all in the bag I received. Lesson learned from the experience: Don't assume product descriptions are correct, and double check sizes before using anything.
