It makes the Surface work for me - functional as a stand, protective as a surround and comfortable as something to hold.The back flap flips out with a sprung strut to keep it secure, retracts easily and happens to present just the right screen viewing angle at the table I use to work at.... but what's also great is that it's really comfortable to use on a lap or in (one of my admittedly quite meaty) hands when folded back on itself, without the keyboard.It feels a bit insecure in screen viewing mode where the front flap folds back in a triangle - but nothing that I would knock off a star for as this is a superb item....The Surface feels very secure when in the clamps - but fairly easy to get out if you need to (get to the SD card for instance).Excellent quality - looks very stylish (to me) - love it to pieces and can happily recommend it... quite pricey - but at less than 5% of the cost of the Pro 4 - worth the outlay.

This is a stylish, high quality case for the Surface Pro, it is a bit heavy but the benefits over ride this minor issue

An essential purchase for any user of the Surface Pro 4. Absolutely beautiful premium finish that will enhance your professional aesthetic.Also feels generally well protected with a well positioned stand. Would not be without this, best accessory for my surface pro by far.

It's a bit bulky and thick, but well,made, feels good, protects well.
