Everything you need to get started, I watched YouTube videos for beginners and created from my box, very happy, great value, great product very glad I bought it.

The kit comes with everything you need to make several keychains. The cords feel soft and are nice to work with, the scissors are rubbish so I used my own after trying them, the keyrings are an okay quality and there is a crochet hook, retractable tape measure, pins, a nice wooden comb and wooden beads. None of the patterns include any of the beads but could be used for your own patterns or added in as desired. Being a total beginner I found the instructions difficult to follow. Some of the patterns do have video instructions via QR codes but I wanted to do the infinity keyring first which did not. However, I found a YouTube video for an infinity keyring anyway and followed that and was pleased with the end result. It was fun to make and I am looking forward to having a go at the others. The kit provides a good introduction to a new hobby.

Very disappointed. Box too small so everything is crammed in and the cords are tangled. The cord is too thick for the key rings so the knots don't tighten neatly. Instructions could be clearer.

I was really pleased with how much this tiny teal box contains. You really do have everything to start making some small macrame projects, including the necessary findings for finishing your keychains. The scissors are super sharp and cut very nicely so will be a welcome addition to my sewing bag. The tape measure is, quite frankly, chefs kiss. The plastic case feels good and thick and the lock button is a real boon, especially if working to a specific length as you can lock the tape at the necessary length and then measure your project against it as you go. Even some pins and a crochet hook to help you tidy the finished piece up. A wooden detangling comb (great for fringing out the cord) is also added for good measure. The included cord is a nice weight and comes in lovely shades. Just lifting the hanks out made me want to dive headfirst in to creating something. Tucked right in the bottom of the box is a colour printed leaflet on matte paper that shows step by step for each design of keychain. There is also a QR Code to watch a video of the method if you prefer that to a more static presentation of words and pictures. I haven't done any macrame work for about 40 years but I love the idea of this being a macrame sampler. There are so many different knots to practice and learn that each keychain seems to build on a technique learnt in a previous item. Wonderful introductory kit that will provide many hours of relaxation that produces something both beautiful and functional. Really good for hand/eye co-ordination and also keeps the brain engaged as the knotting does require some degree of concentration.

What is in the kit is great for beginners but the instructions are absolutely rubbish they cannot be followed by a beginner, i could not get the QR code to work so am unable to comment on any video instructions. In order to complete the keychains i referred to a macrame book and utube. I would not buy again this sort of kit.
