OEM quality
This stuff is supposed to be as good or better than OEM Subaru CVT fluid. It works well so far. And it's definitely a lot cheaper than taking it to a dealership and having a flush and fill done

A much more affordable option for Subaru owners
When you're paying between $16 & $18+ per quart of Subaru brand CVTF 2 fluid this is a much more affordable option. If you look on the back of a Subaru branded CVTF 2 quart bottle you'll see the Idemitsu logo. Doing this job myself saved me over $1000 on what the dealership quoted me to change the valve body and drain and fill my CVT without skimping on anything.

ATF OEM product that works
Since Idemitsu is the OEM of Subaru’s CVTF-II ATF, it gave me confidence to give it a try. I’ve used this on my 2019 Subaru Outback at 130k+ miles. One month in it has been running fine.

Great for Subie CVTs
My family owns (3) 2016 Subaru Foresters....wife, daughter, son. Before I was brave enough to do CVT drain/fill, we paid $$$ at the local stealership for my wife's car. After I got an Xtool bidirectional scan tool on Amazon (useful for measuring transmission fluid temperature, which is critical when refilling CVT fluid), I got semi-brave. The idemitsu CVT fluid is just what my son's & daughter's Subie needed. Combine it with some pumping device to deliver the fluid into the CVT pan, and the job is fairly simple.

Buying good transmission fluid
You have to pay quite a bit more for this brand that's the recommended brand for the Subaru CVT transmission it chapped my ass that I paid this much but feeling it back up with this particular fluid I felt good about things and that's what counted don't go cheap

Works great, replaced old CVT fluids in Forester by circulating & draining twice. Hope it becomes available again.
