CrazyCap Pro - Self-Cleaning and UV Water Purifier Stainless-Steel Bottle Cap Review: We have been very pleased with our CarzyCap self sanitizing water bottles. Somehow one of the caps got left in the dishpan and stopped working. Water and electricity rarely get along well. I was pleased to learn that I could purchase a replacement cap without buying a new CrazyCap bottle. We are back in service, drinking disinfected delicious water. Review: The UV light stopped working after less than a week! I brought this on my trip to South America and it stopped being able to charge or light up to disinfect within 5 days. Very disappointing

I love it when it was working. After 2 months I accidentally dropped my water bottle and it started to act erratically. Wouldn’t hold the charge, gave me a hard time to activate cleaning then eventually stopped working. You should baby this item because it is not durable enough to handle accidental drop.

Con - I bought this to go with a BJPKPK 17oz Insulated Water Bottles, while the device fits it doesn’t properly seal the bottle so unless you put the cap exactly right the bottle will leak. Pro - I took the device in a trip to Mexico and used it to treat tap water at the resort - I didn’t get sick so I’m happy with that. Even at home using filtered water the device gives the water a cleaner taste.

The touch control doesn’t work too well, sometimes requires multiple tries to activate the correct function. It would be much better if it’s actually a physical button. The material seems to be cheaply made in China, has many imperfections.
