It's come in handy everytime the children get a cough or cold and works a treat. The water tank can hold a vast amount of water which is handy as it keeps going through the night. Easy to clean. You can change the intensity of the mist and insert the Vicks vapour cartridges if needed (although quite pricey!) With the added bonus of a pictorial nightlight (3 interchangeable scenes to choose from) which is great for our young children. The one thing I'd say we weren't so keen on was the size, it's rather large! A monster of a humidifier! We're fortunate enough to have space to store and put it on bedside tables big enough when in use. But for those who are short on space / storage might find it a headache to store away when not in use. Otherwise no qualms whatsoever. Using the Vicks pads when they have a cold is also a great feature though the pads are a bit pricey and I can only find them on Amazon. I have another cool mist humidifier and this one is better. This has a larger water tank and the other one has a stupid LED light that illuminates the whole room. Would recommend getting a hygrometer to ensure you don't make the air overly wet.
