S&B Golden Curry Medium/Hot 100g - Pack of 6

We love this and it is now sold as Katsu Curry and delicious with panko coated chicken but equally good as any other kind of curry. We make up a whole one, add lots of vegetables, eat half and freeze half before adding the meat. Best buy out there and we took advantage of the bulk buy offer as it doesn't eat anything so costs nothing to store.

Used to get this from sainsbury's and a lot cheaper, but hey. Husband and friends declared it better than from the Chinese takeaway, so I'm happy 😊

Firstly it's not that hot! I've tried all the strengths and this one is I'd say quite a mild one.This is a curry which the entire family love. Dead easy to make too. Just fry some onions, chicken. Add veg you want like potatoes, carrots and/or mushrooms.Then mix the curry up with boiling water in a measuring jug and pour on top of your meat.My top tip is that you break the pieces smaller than the cubes that the blocks are shaped in. The larger surface area will help the curry dissolve in the measuring jug.

Think it worked out a bit more expensive than I expected (I misread the size of the actual curry packet size- I usually have the bigger size).. But ohwell! This has got to be my favourite curry sauce for my katsu curry! . It was hard to find this in my store I used to go and get this and they put the price up for it! So glad I got multiple packs to last me for a while. This curry sauce works well in a slow cooker, which I usually do. And it's the perfect heat temperature as I'm not fond of heat!

How can you not be happy getting this much golden curry for such a good. Especially when the delivery arrives early.

I’m a big fan of Japanese style curry and find it difficult to buy in UK supermarkets.This brand melts easily and thickens almost instantly. It is mild enough for everyone in my family to enjoy, even the more fussy members!
