Well... Before my thermostat when out "the old one" my grill would run consistently still maintaining temp.. The reason why I replace my old one, The on/off switch melted on the back on the controller. With this new switch, once the grill it's to temp. Let's say 225°,the grill will cut off at that temp, just like a oven would once it hits the set temp. If I open the grill just to check the food, it will cut back on "once it realize the temp is low" then bring it back to temp. Food doesn't taste smoked as much so I bought a smoke pipe to help add the smoke flavor

My stock board went bad on a Z Grills 700E (maybe 5 years old now). Took about 30 minutes to swap this one in and everything works great. I don't see any difference in performance from stock. It's also worth noting that I went ahead and swapped the ignitor, fan, and thermometer while I was at it. Went with a ceramic ignitor (do see an improvement) and replaced the other two parts since I had it apart already (and will keep the old parts as spares). Easy project - no issues.

Bought this as I thought other on was bad and ended up it came unplugged so will keep this one as a spare . Great price

It’s as easy as plug-and-play!

It works OK but the blower fan on my unit never switches off. If the controller is powered on, the fan runs. So I have to turn the switch off after I let the grill complete the shutdown cycle and it has cooled down.

The media could not be loaded.  I got a free Z grill because it didn’t work I bought this control board and now my grill works perfectly. In the video the board laying on the grill is my old broken one.

Buy original from your pellet grille company that made it. This one can’t control temperature at all. Turned on, smoked it at first then slowly raised temperature to 400. It climbed all the way to 525 on screen, so it can only be the controller causing this issue! Shut off on an error. Junk!
