Keep your home clean and ant-free with this Terro Indoor Outdoor Liquid Baits Ant Killer. To kill common household ants, simply place the pre-filled, ready-to-use liquid bait stations near indoor areas where ants are spotted. Ants enter the trap, consume the liquid ant bait, then return to the nest where they pass on the bait to the rest of the colony. Terro ant killer liquid ant baits are specifically designed to kill the worker ant in two to three days, giving the foraging ants enough time to share the bait with the rest of the unsuspecting colony. While it does work, it's a major pain to use
It seems that I remember a time when these products came in a little screw top glass bottle that was flat on one side. You unscrewed it and sat it down. These traps, while pretty effective in attracting and killing ants, have a couple of issues that make them less than satisfactory. First off, the product looks NOTHING like the picture. The picture shows a little ramp with the ants crawling up the ramp to get at the bait, and it shows nothing else. There is no little ramp and the picture does not show the way they open. To open these, you're supposed to twist the top off. Well, the top simply doesn't WANT to twist off. It takes so much effort to twist it off that I found myself covered with ant poison; something I would really rather avoid. It doesn't have any perforations or anything to make removal easier. I ended up resorting to cutting off the tips with scissors, but the plastic is brittle and does not cut cleanly. The other issue is that about half of them end up in a puddle of poison after a time. It mystifies me how this happens, but they just appear to leak out on the floor. The substance is quite difficult to clean up, too, as it doesn't want to dissolve with soap. So all in all, I think I'll search for another solution that's more to my liking. These seem to be the industry leaders though, sad to say.

Arrived with poison spilling everywhere
So gross.Arrived open with poison spilled all over the box. Immediately threw away. Idk if I’m getting a refund as I have nothing to ship back. Items had been open and spilled so long in thier bag that it had crystallized in places.

Highly recommend!
These worked great on the large carpenter ants that invaded my apartment while I was away for a week. It took about 24/48 hours to fully take effect, but once it did, they were gone really quickly. I also had no issue opening them, if you are careful and pay attention to what you are doing...you would be fine.

Ants = Dead
Ants discovered that they could get into the sealed dog food storage container (I'll be updating my review on THAT item later.) They had a feast. My dog had to miss a meal. This means war...We laid out this poisonous banquet for our little merry band of picnic wreckers. I don't know if we killed them all, but I do know I haven't seen them around in a while. They either moved on to easier takings, or perished.Until next time...

Very effective
During summer i tended to have ants and this thing made them completely go away. I remember that at some point i saw many ants inside the package but later i didn't. I thought that either there were melted with the substance or they escaped. But the reality is that after one day, any ant dares to show up and if they do, it's just like one or two and then they disappear. It is amazing and unbelievable. You don't know what happens with them. They just go.

Not the product that's pictured
I purchased the two pack (8 total baits) with the impression they were the old design but unfortunately I was sent the new version of the product. The old design is shaped like a ramp and makes it easier for the ants to access the liquid, while the new design leaves a gap between the floor and entrance making it harder for the small ants to get in. I'm still going to use them but update your product descriptions and pictures please!!

Don't burn down the house, try these
I tried everything to get rid of those tiny ants in my kitchen. I was just about the set the whole place on fire when i tried these. The ants were gone instantly. It was like they saw it coming. I have a small kitchen and used 4 trays. I haven't seen an ant since.

Doesn’t work
These things didn’t kill the ants. The ants came to it, were all in it, but I didn’t see one dead ant, 2 days later they were still there
