Some only showed things, colours with some classical music in the background and he only felt sleepy or just left the room to play with my kitchen devices or to get into trouble into other rooms, I also had some DVDs which weren't meant to be for children in such an early age, he cannot follow the conversations and the stories deal with many things he cannot understand yet because his life experiences are very limited so he was uninterested. I was told this BBC character did wonders in pre-schoolers and I can't be more grateful. Timmy the sheep is just perfect, right what I wanted. He loves it! Yes, he can't concentrate for long but he imitates the noises, loves the music and I think somehow he relates that to his experiences in kindergarden. I'll buy more. No speech or language so translates for those who speeak any/no language. From makers of Wallace and Gromit and the same type of humour. My husband and I have watched it when our baby was asleep upstairs - it just makes us laugh so much.
