Experience spoiled by poor instructions
A kit of good quality materials almost ruined because of poor instructions. These were not only printed too small to see clearly but no measurements were given. As this kit relies on precise fitting and one step follows on from another, an early mistake is magnified. Fortunately I was able to 'reverse engineer' the process, and the result is not too bad. However I would not buy any kit from this manufacturer again.

Need to be into crafts
Got this to add a little something to my bookshelf. The build was a bit tricky at times, wires for the lights didn't stretch far enough to get to their intended position, ladders don't have a good surface to glue to just to name a couple of things. The instructions were not accurate but rather gave a rough idea of how it should go together. With a little thought and engineering this could be built and looks nice when finished. However if you are not adaptable or just want a step by step instruction to assemble you may find this frustrating. The main issue is the instruction manual is a translation to English so some of it is a bit inaccurate or straight up incorrect. Overall I am happy with the end result.I may even purchase another one day.

Super Cute
Very fun to do in the evenings or all at once, though you will need a steady hand and patience for when it inevitably goes wrong. Also it does not come with any glue which is vital!Aside from that the instructions are very easy to understand and you end up with a finished product that fits quite well between some hardbacks on your bookshelf!

Gorgeous product, couple of issues to be aware of
This was such a gorgeous product, and the instructions were relatively easy to follow. Only issue was that the lights stopped working very quickly and are now very difficult to replace. Also, certain items were very breakable (e.g. cauldron and desk pieces), and did not have a replacement part even though other items did. Had extra glue on hand to fix these! However, despite this, I absolutely love the finished product.

A lot of fun and so easy to display
Parts are strong and sturdy, first I felt some parts were hard to put together but i'd rather that, than it falling apart. They give you some backup parts as well just in case, but I never required any because its so well made. Mine came without glue, but i picked up a hi-tack all purpose glue which did the job.A couple of translation errors in the booklet. Step 2 is referring to E1 not H1. Step 23 means G36 not G37.Overall this was a lot of fun and a great way to spend some time off work. I built this before the bookcase I plan to put it on! Will definitely buy another one if I have the space.

Excellent set but...
Haven't fully completed the set yet but I'm finding pretty good so far building it. However there's a few niggling things if you're not a frequent miniaturist:Based on my experience of doing such kits, I never follow all the instructions to the T, I usually make all the small bits first and for the big bits if possible do some pre assembly because honestly, sometimes the instructions make it harder than it really is for the assembly...Per the photos I submitted, the arch in the front part, after gluing the pieces together I found they don't quite match the staircase and I've had to cut the pieces to fit. If you don't fit it, then the front wooden piece which is the last part before you assemble the right side, nothing will fit properly at the end and you will risk breaking the wood if you have to disassemble after gluing...XDAlso being that its supposed to be an 'Elven Library' why are all the books not 'elvish like' aha!!! Its either in English, some magazine covers and weird Spanish posters... I went and printed my own book covers cos it was just weird. I would probably make some changes to the book stacking etc so it would look abit more realistic. Also those little dragons under the 'canopy', super hard to stick. I probably need to use super glue instead of e6000.....Will update my review once completed :)Edit:Some parts after gluing didn't fit right so I had to cut a little to make sure the fitting works but thats OK and probably my own folly xD. I made the hole for the electrics a tiny bit bigger before gluing the top piece which was also out of alignment so I cut the front a little for fitting. At least its done :)

Great little project
It was a fun little project that just took a weekend to complete. Wasn't too fidly and fine for a beginner. There were a couple of bits I was unsure of or difficult to make, like the cauldron however it wasn't too hard to find a work around. I'd definitely buy or gift one of these kits in the future. Just make sure you have tacky craft glue suitable as it doesn't come with any.
