This grill press has greatly improved my end results on cooking a variety of food and meats. It's a heavy-duty cast iron press and firmly holds down the food while it cooks. The press keeps even heat and pressure, and causes a nice crust to form. I've used it on a variety of different recipes...burgers, steaks, chicken thighs (yum!), and even veggies. I also love to use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches and restaurant quality quesadillas. I keep it nearby my stove at all times and clean up on it is a breeze. One thing I have noticed is that my meat tends to be more evenly cooked and it actually cooks a bit faster when I use the press.

The weight is good. The handle is loose and rotates on me tightening the screw doesn't fix the issue

Great quality and very solid grill press! It’s heavy enough to keep the meat flat and cook evenly, especially for bacon and burgers. I noticed it really helps reduce cooking time and gives nice grill marks. The wooden handle stays cool, which is a big plus.
