So far so good
I lost my backup key fob for my 2018 Honda CRV and knew I needed to replace it, so I took a chance on this. I received it promptly and after calling a half a dozen locksmiths, I found one that only charged $65 to program it. The average cost was about $170 for programming! I did replace the battery at the same time I had it programmed because previous reviewers mentioned low or dead batteries. Relieved to have a 2nd key fob again, just in case. BTW the Honda dealership price for a new fob and programming was about $375!

Works perfectly for 2017 Honda CRV
I bought a 2017 Honda crv from a dealer and he gave me only one keyfob. He said owner gave only one keyfob. For second keyfob dealer was charging 320 bucks. I did some research online and learned that you can buy keyfob online and have it programmed and cut in about 100 bucks total. So I bought this keyfob and enquirered about programming. Dealer asked 150 to program and cutting. I found keyexpress truck at Sams parking lot and I bargained with him for 80 bucks. So I got this keyfob total in 115. I am happy and using this keyfob daily. Works great.

Identical
This is an identical replica of the key fob for these cars. The only thing missing is the Honda emblem but that is not a big deal at all. You will need to have someone (a locksmith, mechanic, or dealership) program it to your car for you which will be an additional cost, unless you have the proper equipment or know someone who does to do so for yourself.

Great alternative for Dealership pricing
Perfect, took it to a lockstep and they programed it.

Not Happy - Alarm & Rear Hatch Functions Don't Work
I got this key and programmed it with an Autel MP808 key programmer. Everything appeared to program fine to my 2018 Pilot. However, the alarm function does not activate the alarm - it remote starts the car instead. Just to be clear, the remote start button ALSO starts the car. Also, the rear hatch function does something with the hatch, but it does not unlock it completely. But it does make some sort of noise in the rear hatch.I contacted the seller and we verified that I had the correct fob. Now the seller wants my locksmith to "check the frequency". When I contacted a locksmith and told them this, they laughed and told me they would have to charge me for diagnosing the key, and in the end it'll probably be a bad fob. I will try to program again, and if for some reason it gets corrected, then I will update this, otherwise, this review will stand. Just be aware of this if you are doing your own programming.

Key fob will not open hatch
The fob works fine other than the fact that the remote hatch release button does not work at all and I have to manually open the back.
