Great board for a new (heavy weight) rider *updated deck!*
This is my first eskate and i am glad that I picked this one up. I was nervous after seeing pics here of the deck cracking where they router out a channel for cable management and the holes for the rear truck. Even on the Atoms youtube channel promo vid for this board the guy was not using the deck shown here! I bought a similar sized 8-ply hard maple deck to swap out the deck, however now that Atom updated using a new riser with a hole in it to pass-through the cable instead of the deck. This board seems so much more stronger. I am weighing in at 240 lbs on a good day and this board works well for me. Range is about 4-5 miles on flat. Smaller hills i can climb in the high setting. However, it does eat up battery quickly! I love these wheels, I can see why so many youtubers rave about cloud wheels. They go over anything and i feel more confident when riding at the highest speed. I use this board to run out to stores close to me or for other quick trips close by instead of using my car.Warning! I have skated for many years and some habits were hard to break at first. I never long boarded so the first instinct for me was to try and pivot on the back truck to turn sharply. Yeah this you can not do here! hahah. Also i am so use to being lower to the ground. My normal board is only 3 and half inched off the ground. This board is 5 inches off the ground making it very foreign to break with my foot, or push off. I would feel more stable if i was lower.I would recommend this to someone just getting into eskating, but keep in mind this tech is from 2017/2018 and newer boards have so many more options and features now. Which is why i am already upgrading to a newer board. hope this helps!

... had this board for about a month and I love it! I was a little nervous to order ...
I've had this board for about a month and I love it! I was a little nervous to order it due to the lack of reviews online, so here are my two cents:Pros:- Smooth acceleration and stopping: The only other electric board I have tried is a friend's Boosted, and I was worried other brands might start/stop more suddenly. No worries, the acceleration/deceleration feels similar on this board. There is a thumb knob on the controller, which I like vs the wheel on the Boosted.- Power and speed: The single motor has plenty of power for me and I haven't gone anywhere near the top speed yet. I am brand new to skateboarding though, more experienced riders may want more speed than 15mph. I am also 135lbs, this board may feel more sluggish to heavier folks, especially up hills.- Hill climbing: I've gone up some pretty steep hills, but only with a decent start on flat ground. This board does not want to start uphill (unlike the Boosted).- Wheels: These wheels will go over gravel, sticks, pine cones, huge sidewalk cracks, etc and I don't feel a thing. The board will not go through grass like true mountain boards though, which I guess shouldn't be surprising.- Water resistance: I've gotten caught in drizzle a couple of times and have had no issues. Dried the board off immediately. It's not waterproof though, don't go though puddles people.- Deck: I don't have anything to compare this board to except the Boosted, but the deck and grip tape seem fine. The tape is not peeling anywhere yet. The deck is stiff, which I like.- Disco lights: Not really sure if the lights on the bottom of the board are supposed to serve any practical purpose (probably not), but they're cool I guess. I'd want better lights for nighttime riding.Cons:- Battery life: I'm getting about 7-8 miles per charge thanks to the regenerative braking, so this is more of a request than a complaint: Atom can we please get more battery life? I'd like to go for some longer rides!- Weight: Again, not a surprise, but this board would not be fun to carry if, say, the battery dies. However, it is pretty easy to push since it only has one belt.Overall, this is an awesome board and is wicked fun to ride! I'll be riding it every day to work for the next few months and will update this review periodically. The components all seem quality, and I like that if you call the company you get a real live human in Colorado. It's my first electric board, and I'd say it's perfect for a beginner like me or for someone who doesn't want to go very fast. I may upgrade to a dual belt eventually, but for now the B10.X has all the power and speed that I need. Happy riding!

Good board for the price
Good board, not the highest quality, but for the price is it good. The good things:-It's really fun,-good for bumpy areas, great for bricks and cracks in side walks-quite speedy enough for most people, I can keep up with my friend who's board goes fasterDisclaimer!! (I'm not being gentle on this board, I use it multiple times every day over rough surfaces)Cons:-board is basically plywood so don't hit anything to hard with it, and it is a little warped now-the rubber pulley teeth are breaking already. Electric skate HQ has replacement pulley belts, this board burns through belts if you go up hill regularly. If you're only boarding on flat surfaces then you will be fine-foot grip material isn't the best, peels at corners a little

Atom B10X Exceeded all of my expectations
This electric longboard is incredible! I bought it to cruise around campus (to/from classes) and my city (with many cracked roads and sidewalks). This board handles everything I've thrown at it, the large treaded wheels power over every surface, crack, bump, speed bump, etc. It has made it up every hill I've tried so far (up to 20% grade?), me being 165 lbs. The torque and acceleration are superb, this board absolutely flies (even up a slight grade!). The battery lasted all day today with intermittent heavy usage, so I'd say 7-8 miles is about right for the range.Pros:-Fast acceleration, great torque, too scared to test top speed lol-Large, treaded, soft wheels tackle every surface-Flexible deck absorbs a lot of vibration and bumps-Great range-Charges quickly (2 hours or less)-Good controller (has never lost connection or stuttered)-Cool RGB underglow-Lots of compliments and head-turnsCons:-A bit heavy, but to be expected. Not too hard to carryOverall, this board is worth every penny! I highly recommend it.
