Max ABV would depend on the type of mash you are fermenting and the type of yeast you are using as well as temperature and pH etc. Adding this in the appropriate amount to your mash is optional, it is designed to improve yeast health, making a stronger fermentation, but is not required. I have used this with multiple different grains with good success. **Q: Do i also need fermaid O or just k for making mead ?** A: Either will be a fine choice! Fermaid O is organic and has no DAP, while Fermaid K does have DAP. Both are yeast nutrient and will help you with your end goal! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality was great *by K***Z on 28 May 2025* Value for money, just the right thing for the job ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Healthy yeast *by S***D on 21 September 2026* Good buy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with cider *by A***W on 16 July 2026* I brew only cider.
