Bisk 02992 Futura Finished Single Robe Hook, 2.5 x 4 x 6 cm, Silver

I have been looking for a robe hook that will stay up and this one fits the bill perfectly. Firstly it is made of a solid casting and the finish is polished chrome that looks thick enough to last a lifetime. The hook is quite heavy itself which is a good sign. The design is great — basically you fit a small squared off peg to the wall and then fit the hook onto this, finally securing with an ‘allen’ type grub screw. One point to note is that the hook fits with two screws, not one like other hooks. This makes the installation a little longer but the security to the wall is superb, I mean really superb. I reckon you could hang a whale off these and they will stay up! I have really hard porcelain tiles so the use of a good quality tile drill is a prerequisite as you need to be fairly accurate with the hole positions. I put two of these up together and had no problem even with my tiles to get them perfectly in-line. The grub screw that holds the hook onto the wall fixing is also really discrete. I have seen hooks by the likes of Grohe that don’t look this good. Would recommend this hook even if it was twice the price. See photos.

Very attractive and easy to fit. We bought them to replace some hooks that did not actually hold towels properly. These are very secure and match the style of the other fittings in our caravan washroom.
