Perfect kit for beginners
I am just a newbie trying to learn ukulele for the first time. This ukulele kit had everything you would need to get started. The ukulele has a really descent sound quality and is really easy on hands. One of my friends, who is a professional musician was appreciating the sound quality of this ukulele regardless of its low price. I also loved the texture of the ukulele as it had a premium feel to it. The tuner that came with it was really easy to use and tune the ukulele. Also the gig bag that it came does a great work in protecting the ukulele.

Misleading wood type, poor quality sounds
I shop on Amazon a lot, so I really hate when the product descriptions are totally misleading. This is the case with the wood material of this Ukulele. “Solid Mahogany: The best features of a solid material ukulele are its sounds getting better and better with time aging” - Well that would be true if the instrument was actually built with Solid Wood. This one is NOT. Its is made of very light laminate, and to be honest I can’t really trust that even the outer layers of this laminate is mahogany, but if it is, it is less than 1 millimeter thick and has no potential of affecting the sound in any positive way. Actually the very opposite, it makes the instrument sound cheap and with no sustain. That is the case here, sure, if you are getting this for your little child, that is a nice and affordable option. But if you play music for any amount of time in your life, I believe you will be disappointed with this one if you are expecting a good deal on a “solid mahogany” Uke. As for a kit, it is a good deal for the money for true beginners as they include everything in the set. Extra strings, tuner, pics, strap, a pretty good gig bag. I would say: stay away if you like well built instruments that sound great, for beginners, it's a go. I hope this assists you with your shopping. If so feel free to let me know below and leave a comment with any questions.Cheers, Cass
