My favourite in the series!
This book is my favourite one in the series!I was sucked in from the first chapter and could not put it down for a second!I absolutely love Leo and Mary! After misunderstandings they finally got their HEA 😍I’m so sad this series is over, I’ve loved every second of it!I’m super excited for Kandi’s next book 😍😍

Four and a half stars for me
Having loved Blind Side, which was the first Kandi Steiner book I read, and having recently re-read it to remind myself how good it was, I was looking forward to the next book in the series. I loved Leo (he might be worth five stars just by himself!) and the chemistry between him and Mary was great, especially once Mary finally succumbed to his charms. I just couldn't quite get on board with their back story and although I loved how strong and driven Mary was to fulfill her ambition, despite her parents' reservations and expectations, I just didn't fully warm up to her. I did love her interactions with her housemates though and it was great to see characters from the previous books make appearances, especially my favourites - Giana and Clay!It may not be a full five stars for me but that is just my personal opinion and shouldn't put anyone off reading this book - I would still recommend it and the other books in this series. I am disappointed that this is the last in this series as I wouldn't have minded stories with some of the other players - I think Kyle's story would be an interesting read.

Amazing end to the series
I have loved every moment and book of this series, these were my first romance novels involving any form of sport and now I am hooked! Leo and Mary's story was a roller coaster of emotions from start to finish. I haven't read a story quite like there's before and the depth the story had was just fantastic. Leo was a loveable character through all the books and getting to know every side of him was swoon worthy from the respect he had for his mom to how he helped Mary and then was caring despite her clear dislike of him. Mary was an amazing female lead with how she followed what she wanted not her parents, to how she took no prisoners while was having so much vulnerability you wanted to reach in the pages and hug her. After all they had been through it was beautiful to read her and Leo finding each other again. It was also nice in this book at her to know Kyle better and see a different side to him. The book rounds out perfectly in the ending know where everyone ends up after college giving you the closure needed to end a truly fantastic and gripping series.

A college romance
Mary met Leo online playing Halo when they were 15 and she had a big crush on him until she approached him at school one day. He snubbed her not knowing she was the one who he was gaming with and Mary was then teased by his football team mates from then on. When Leo met her again years later, he noticed that she was different from all the other girls and he wanted to get to know her only she snubbed him every time. He might be a football player but the face he put on with everyone was a facade and Mary could see the act he put on. He started to do little things for her and her hatred of him started to dissipate. Its a college romance so ideally suited to a younger generation.

Very Good
First off, how wonderful to see Indie authors hitting the top of the bestsellers lists. And from page 1 of this book you can tell why. I was instantly hooked by the storyline, the characters and the writing style. Unfortunately, my cynical over-read heart found the story falling into the generic sports romance/enemies to lovers clichés that can be found in a thousand other stories. That's not a huge criticism. I hugely enjoyed the story overall. It just took a story to 4 stars instead 5. Still a greatly entertaining story.

Finding the end zone!
Mary Silver has hated Leo Hernandez since high school when he broke her heart. When she ends up living opposite him, he hatred is evident to everyone and Leo has no idea why. When Mary's house floods, Leo gets her to agree to move into the football house until the house is fixed. Being together, Mary sees a new side of him that confused her. Her attraction to him is still there and she is struggling with what that means! Can Leo find out why she hates him or will their close proximity explode making things worse? This book was a fantastic read, the characters had intense chemistry and I wanted them to forgive and just love. I can't wait for the next Kandi book

Leo Hernandez is everything!
This story… Wow… I couldn’t put it down. Mary & Leo captured my heart from the very first page. I identified a lot with Mary and my heart broke for her when she revealed what school had been like bc I was also that teen once. And as for Leo? That guy ran in and stole my heart more and more with every chapter that I read. The way he adores Mary, the way he is with his Mom, the way he speaks Spanish!!! Oh boy!!! I never thought that anyone would topple Holden from the top spot but Leo has and I think he’s gonna stay there a while.

Enemies to Lovers + Close Proximity College Romance
Boys are stupid... they do dumb things and don't realize it! Leo and Mary "met" while gaming online while in high school. When Mary tries to introduce herself in person, Leo blows her off, and his friends bully her the remaining high school days. Mary goes on to hate him, while he struggles with her vanishing from his life. When they meet again, Leo can't figure out why Mary can't stand him. He's a happy go lucky college athlete who loves his friends and his mom. Mary is unapologetically herself. I really enjoyed this storyline. Their connection was beautiful. The supporting characters added some fun!

Hail Mary: An Enemies-to-Lovers Roommate Sports Romance (Red Zone Rivals)
Leo and Mary’s love story is epic and a fitting ending to a four book series. Enjoyed the friendship, camaraderie between the fellow football players and their chosen mates. Loved the juicy spice as well.

Incredible
I loved this book. It starts setting everything straight with the story, even though I read the past books I didn’t know everything that happened with them, Kandi makes sure to insinuate things but never actually told the real story. It made me real emotional sometimes. Leo is just so in love with her, and she is so amazing.. I totally recommend this book.

One of my favorite couples
tropes: second chance, some kind of friends to enemies to lovers, hidden identity, roommates, forced proximity, sports romancetw: sexual harassment❤️It was a kiss I felt all the way down to my toes. It stirred my desire as much as it soothed my aching heart. It was the feeling of coming home after a long trip. It was Christmas morning and a sunset on the beach. It was a night spent between the sheets and a day of perfect sunshine. It was Leo, and it was me. It was us.❤️Leo and Mary stole my heart in the very first chapter. When Mary was 15 years old she meets Leo online while playing a game of Halo. For a summer he was her gaming partner, confidant, and friend until he became more to her and she decided to reveal her identity. That moment, however, became the one where Leo Hernandez unknowingly broke her heart. Almost 7 years later, Mary has banished Leo from her heart. She would prefer not to think about him at all, but that proves to be quite difficult for her as Leo is her neighbor. When Mary has to leave the house she lives in due to a burst pipe, Leo offers her to move in with him and some of his teammates. Seeing no other way out, Mary accepts his offer, and the story of her and Leo, one that never really ended, takes its course.Hail Mary was emotional, angsty, and steamy and had two absolutely great characters, neither of whom was without flaws. But they were human and realistic. Leo was cocky at times and made decisions over Mary's head. Since he did it out of love, though, I can't fault him for it. Basically, I found him quite swoon-worthy. Mary took a long time to let Leo thaw her heart but I felt it was a normal reaction to past experiences. She was a curvy, tattooed badass whose independence I really liked. She stumbled at times but never gave up on making her life what she wanted it to be. I devoured Hail Mary. Go and read it.5⭐️3.5🌶️
