Replacement refill pellets for the Ecozone Ecoballs150 – the original. When the Ecozone Ecoballs150 contents have been used you may purchase new replacement contents to refill the Ecozone Ecoballs. This is easily done by unscrewing the Ecozone Ecoballs, dispersing of the old contents and adding in the new refills.

Straightforward but requires brute force
First, how to know I need refills: my clothes were coming out the machine with a slight residual smell and, critical for me, still irritating to my skin where the ecoballs previously washed them well. I had been using the ecoballs almost daily for about 6 months and the pellets within had shrunk to about half their original volume.Second, opening the ecoballs: I have the mark 2 design with the plug. I needed a screwdriver to lever the plug out, requiring more force and time than I had expected. I did mash the edges a bit. Pour the used pellets into the bin.Third, fill each ecoball with 2 sachets of new pellets. This should completely fill both ecoballs. You get 6 sachets in the refill box, i.e. 1.5 refills' worth.Fourth, replace the plug: more levering with screwdriver.Clothes now washing well again.Essentially a simple task, glowing with environmental and economical credibility. The plug is the only struggle and, while I see that it has to be secure so it doesn't come out in the machine, surely it doesn't have to be this difficult?

10/10 product
Absolutely brilliant. My last refill lasted almost two years before one day suddenly the washing didn't smell clean when I opened the machine. Put in new refill - perfect again. Can't praise enough for every day use. I don't however have children or very soiled clothing so I don't know how they perform for that. But for normal washes they are absolutely brilliant. I can't imagine how much money I save!

Ecozone refills
I have been using ecoballs for a few years now and they are still going strong,I treated my son to the containers and these spare refills, to help him and the environment.It would have been intersting to know what the weight of them were on the packet, before use.

I used these for ages but was never sure how I felt about them. Maybe wasn't sure if they cleaned clothes that well. Some items definitely needed detergent.

excellent for washing dark clothes, they keep their colours better than using the average detergent. keep this for whites. Have been using eco balls for years. fast postage also.
