Good value sturdy design does the job well

Great chisel
Great value pitcher.

Great – but not ready to use
A good piece of forged metal, which would be great for stone pitching - but notice the poor workmanship on the edge - the most important part of this chisel is to ensure that the edges are square. Maybe this was a one-off, but it's not great. I'm going to have to grind down about 1.5mm to get a square edge.

Good value
To be honest this chisel has surprised me massively. Been pitching Purbeck copings for two weeks now and not even a dent on it. Worth the money if u don't want to buy TCT. My colleague has a TCT and it handles it the same. Another bought the £17.00 footprint chisel and it is nowhere near as competent as this one

good weight and feel but only a budget pitcher
Too soft and is liable to need constant careful regrinding to keep its edge. OK for non-pro use but no substitute for proper hardened TC edge pitcher.

Value for money
Breaks stone as good as a tungsten chisel, how long it lasts remains to be seen but so far I’m very impressed with the product and won’t hesitate to buy another one.
