High-Quality Plate, May Require Minor Adjustment This is a commercial-grade strike plate with a flawless finish. The quality is immediately apparent. Installation Note: For my particular door, I had to trim approximately 1/16 ′′ off the plate to get a perfect fit. This was a very easy adjustment, and afterwards, it fit perfectly. for mortise lock repair
got the don jo mortise repair kit but it didnt came with the striker, so i got this instead, and this was the missing link, job completed

Needed longer strike plate hole.
Replaced strike plate because I needed a longer hole in the plate. Worked fine after installation.

Striker is a Perfect Fix
The person who installed the original striker did not align to the door properly and the door never closed properly until this new striker was installed. The key, is the screw holes to secure this striker are in different locations than the standard striker allowing the proper alignment and adjustments with fresh new screw holes.
