No Biting! (Lift-The-Flap Book) Novelty Book – Picture Book, 27 May 2002

I have two little boys age 3 and 5, and as you can imagine, they fight a lot. I bought this book to help remind them about the importance of keeping their hands and feet to themselves. It works a treat. They enjoy this book a lot. I also bought the 'No Hitting ' book. Good value. Fast delivery

I bought this book for my toddler when she started to bite her brother. She really enjoys it and the biting behaviour has significantly reduced since we started reading it. The underlying idea of this book is to redirect behaviour. When we say "no", babies/toddler do not know what to do because we do not explain what they are supposed to do instead. By using redirection, we can show them what to do, and help replace an unwanted behavior with one that is acceptable, in a positive and respectful way. Redirection is a good alternative to no. It gives the chance to the child to do something right and helps build self esteem and positive relationships.

Great - bought for my 18 month old who was biting; this really helped her understand right and wrong without the angry emotions in the conversation - now when she does go to bite we say no biting.. and once she is calmer say what can you bite? And she happily shouts APPLES! It has helped her understanding of all sorts of behaviour like hitting too. She regularly chooses it as a book to read

OK but not enough pages on actually biting, still good though as teaches not to hit, spit etc. as well

Fantastic resource for a child that bites and to understand the biting child!

I usually always tend to read reviews, this time I didn't. Really disappointed with this book. It only includes one page on biting and isn't aimed at the one subject as the title suggests.Lesson learnt, will continue to read reviews in future.I shall try the book anyways, as apart from it not being based on the title at all, it's a very bright, child friendly book. Hopefully we can take on board some of the not to's included

Bought it to stop grandson from biting at daycare, hitting his mom and hitting the dog. Seemed to help

Very good.Loved the illustrations, colors,story and the reusable stickers at the end.

For a book called ‘no biting’ there is only one page related to biting. The rest is for other behaviours!
