Great classy stand. Well made. No not designed for ballast. Had to block off the hole for wires to add the ballast to the small tube. Would have liked to fill the large tube with ballast.

Loved the finish on the stands and everything included even indented metal discs to protect your wooden or stone tiled floor from the spikes

Bought these for two bookshelf speakers and "WOW" so impressed.The stands just scream "quality" at you, beautifully engineered and solid as a rock.They have cable management and I am filling the tubes fully with long grain rice to add mass and improve the bass response.The icing on the cake is that they look beautiful.

I like these a lot, solid and adjustable, aesthetically pleasing and well engineered.
