Lid for Tefal Actifry models AL800xxx, FZ700xxx, GH800xxx

I ordered this replacement lid because the other suffered heat damage, the problem with the Tefal Fat Free Fryer unfortunately. As Amazon supply spare parts and their service is usually excellent, they were the obvious choice of replacement supplier. Order placed and lid dispatched. For some reason the delivery company decided they could not find us, we do live in an isolated spot but this company had delivered to us many times before. I complained to Amazon and they investigated, the delivery company then decided that the full address wasn't given, rubbish, house number, road, town and postcode, they never had a problem before. In the end I had to go into town and pick the item up, I am now up and running again. Pity Amazon was let down by a third party. The Tefal? great to have it working again.

I came across this item by mistake looking to replace our Actifry after the lid hinge broke ( common fault).Ordered it and it arrived ed 36 hours later, straight replacement and good fit.Haven't used it yet so can't fairly report on durability hense only 4 * but it seems as good as the original but not sure if that's a good thing or not.Saved me about £150 on a new unit and I've already recommended it to relatives in the same boat with their fryers.

This item arrived promptly and fitted perfectly restoring the fryer to a usable condition.One slight glitch I ordered a white instead of black replacement, just looks a bit odd but works perfectly. Full marks to tefal for supporting their products.

Unfortunately the lid on my Tefal actifry broke just out of the year guarantee. Whilst the replacement was the same price on most sites I ordered from Spares 2 Go and was very pleased with their very fast delivery. I received the replacement lid within 48hrs and although I do complain about the price and the fact that I had to replace the lid just 12months after having purchased Actifry I am delighted with the lid and getting my Actifry working again.

Perfect replacement

Perfectly adequate as far as it goes. However, I think Tefal should review the design. This is the third lid in about 2 years as the tags at the back of the lid, which hold it to the body, crack and eventually break off.Knowing the weakness, we treat with great care, but the spring which lifts the lid when released puts constant pressure on these two relatively flimsy tangs.Come on Tefal, you can do better.

While i am very happy with it and it fits I am appalled I had to purchase one so soon after buying this expensive machine..it is flimsy and cost a quarter of the price of the machine and feels an hidden extra charge. so many have ot buy them so why not improve the design?
