Excellent, just what I wanted, would buy again

These are cheap and I should have probably paid a bit more for better quality ones but they do the job and work well.

Good Value pack of ten, if you are an audio buff you would buy all metal ones to shield your signals from external electrical noise but I wanted something less expensive for small 13.8 volt power cables and so these are ideal.

Used this type of diy phono socket for many years. Always cheap and average quality. But, these ones are indeed low quality . Really flimsy construction and thin plastic. Applied heat with a soldering iron to solder on wiring and the plastic split and deformed. Had to be overly careful on subsequent sockets. They do the job but can’t get over how low quality they are. Won’t be buying any more.

I used these on my music cables they did the job well

WARNING THESE ITEM's ARE TERRIBLE CHEAP FLIMSY AND DON'T WORK ! ! ! Avoid these like the plague, i have a c+g in electronics and have never seen a component so badly made, wired & soldered the plugs as standard but even screwing on the screen cap you could fell the thin shield bending out of shape. Plugged them in the back of the 5.1 surround amp and guess what, 3 out of 5 speakers did't work. The reason this was the connections were so ill fitting they just fell out of the phono inputs just by touching them (useless). I then bought some hi quality ones from Maplin electronics, wired them up exactly the same way and guess what PERFECT. All 5 speakers working perfectly with no loose connections or phono plugs falling out, Advise you to give this item a very wide birth, pay extra and get them from Maplin worth the extra £2 and they work, you have been warned ! ! ! ! !
