A ferramenta veio com defeito. As primeiras amarras foi executada, porém frouxa. Depois começou a travar constantemente. Em vez de agilizar as amarras, estava atrasando. Passamos a amarrar pelo processo convencional.

This tie tool worked as expected. I tied about 250 joints the first day. It never 'jammed'. About 1 in 25 times it breaks the wire at the end of the twist function and you have to pull the twisted wire from the tool. Did it with my fingers every time but could use pliers. About 1 in 100 ties the wire did not wrap around but only consequence was 18" of wasted wire. And I think this was because I did not lift the mat up enough. You need to allow about 2 - 3" clearance under the mat (lift the mat) for the machine to work correctly. I was tying two 7/16" rebar and one roll of wire did about 200 joints. A single battery was still going after 250 ties. I am a real tool junkie and have about every tool known to mankind. While I recognized this is a cheap, chinese tool, it worked fine. I will likely only tie 1,000 - 2,000 joints over the life of the tool so it is a perfect value for me.

It works fine for about 2 hours and then started jamming and Non-Stop I ended up having to return it and buy another one which works only half the time. Because of the amount of jams and wasted wire with these tools I found that it was just simpler and less aggravating to do the twist by hand the old fashioned way.

Quality is decent for the money. It does jam on occasion if you don’t align it properly but that’s more user error than the tools fault and this isn’t a $2k tool so you gotta temper your expectations a bit. For me I’m very happy with it because it’s a huge time saver. I am not a concrete pro. If I was I’d probably get a pro level tool. But for a hobbyist who needs to occasionally do a little concrete work this is way better than twisting this wire ties by hand. The wire isn’t very expensive and it’s pretty easy to load. I’ve attached a demo video. Hopefully it loads.
