Good
It was bought as a present and was well packaged to avoid damage in transit. Although it was not one of the most expensive choices , it appeared well made and looked good. My daughter has since told me itโs brilliant and is a big help sorting out breakfasts for 4 children in the mornings on a tight schedule for school!

Do not buy - regular bread does not fit.
How I wish I'd properly read the reviews first. :-( TLDR; DO NOT BUY THIS AS A REGULAR TOASTER. Regulat bread *does not fit* in it! You *might* want to buy this if you live alone and buy tiny loaves. Even then, I suspect you'll find better options if you search. In the interests of being more balanced: Pros: - The controls work fine, and the range of timings between minimum and maximum is good. On minimum, it only toasts for about 45 seconds, which is fine for a reheat setting. - It's not apparently electrically unsafe (I checked the earth continuity, which is fine). - The slots are wide enough to fit something thicker than a slice of bread. Crumpets, for example, or a breakfast muffin sliced in 2. Cons: - Build quality is average. I's not falling apart, but it's tinny and thin, which is about normal for a cheap toaster. - By far the absolute major fail is that the length and height of the slots are too small. The marketing write up is (of course) intentionally misleading - claiming it will fit "...an array of breads..." in the description, and the words "...Large Bread..." in the title. This "...array of breads..." doesn't include the normal, regular sliced bread you'll most likely have bought unless you specifically tried to buy a smaller loaf. "Standard" size bread varies depending on the manufacturer, but a very common size of bread in the uk is about 135 x 105 mm. The toasting slots on this are 130 x 90mm, so you can only really toast a slice of regular bread if you squash it and force it in, or toast only about 2/3 of the surface of the slice with a 40mm wide strip sticking out the top not getting toasted.

This toaster looks good in my kitchen, a bit wider than your basic toaster but lovely and stylish

Size matters
It's a toaster. It's cheap. It looks good and it works as a toaster should. There's just one problem - it's tiny. That's a bonus if you have to fit it into a tiny space in your kitchen (it's way smaller than the 4 slice toaster we replaced) but it does mean that for anything larger than an English breakfast muffin, you'll need to toast one half of the slice then take it out, turn it over and toast the other half of the slice.

Too small!
The slots aren't deep enough to fit a standard slice of bread, so you have to rotate each slice as it's toasting, and inevitably the ends are less toasted than the middle. It looks okay and it works but it's not a good toaster.

Shortfall in depth - does not accomodate standard bread slices
the width may be slighter wider than the average toaster but the depth is actually shorter therefore your bread does not get completely toasted - ironic lol - but just over half toasts fine and the rest remains warm with zero colour and this is on using normal standard bread so really disappointed with the product as it looks stylish but its no use if its not doing the job really - shame

You get what you pay for. Doesnโt full toast a slice unless itโs tiny bread Tripped the switch on the breaker after a few weeks of use. Open your wallet and buy a decent one

I have only used it once, good toaster but the wells for holding the bread is not deep enough. Such a pity.
