I dig this idea, one of those”why didn’t I think of this” kind of tools. It’s sturdy too for the price

When I first got it I kept taking it apart by accident. But, now I forgot how do it. So, I had to come here to see. I wish it would've came with instructions so I wouldn't have refer to the page when I forget. If I have amnesia again and the page is gone then I'm out of luck.Also wish it came with a pouch. I don't want to just throw my utensils inside a dirty bag or pocket.

I initially was not very impressed with the sturdiness or initial user experience with this tool, but then I recalled that this is a $12 item. With that in mind, it gets a lot of credit for value. I decided to keep this as a backup tool on my golf cart, but would not use it as my primary multitool.Out of the package, it was covered in oil This is great so it did not arrive rusty, but bad to get oil all over your hands right before you start opening and closing sharp blades. I wiped the casing down pretty good, washed my hands to prevent a painful slip and began to check it out.When I first went to fold one of the tools out, I noticed the old familiar recess in the casing where you can stick a fingernail to get the specific tool out was missing. Instead, the fingernail groove on the tool is facing inward and is difficult to get a nail into. Once I unfolded one of the knife blades, two to three other tools would also start opening. This happened multiple times. Seems that the case is too tight on the hinges. It definitely was not from a lack of oil on the tools.Next, I noticed that the casing has quite a bit of flex. For example, if you fold the tool closed and squeeze a little, it will misalign the two sides and snap in too far but then pops back out.No major issues and nothing that would prevent me from recommending this. It also comes with a case, which is a plus to keep dirt and debris from getting into it. Quite a bargain really at $12.

7 in 1 Camping Utensils SetThe seller's "How to Use" instructions should be included with the product.Initially upon receiving this utensil multi-tool I could find no way to access the knife blade. I asked 3 others for help. The third was able to get the blade out, but only, as I had foreseen, with the aid of another tool. Once out and open the blade locks into place, ...without any visible means to easily unlock it. In order to unlock & fold the knife a way it appeared an outside tool was required to manually push the lock aside so the blade can be folded back into the knife. This seemed too obvious a flaw. I knew I must be missing something, so I went back to the seller's page on Amazon and noticed the seller's “How to Use” instructions. ( Which I have included in this review for an additional reference point). All fell into place & became intuitively obvious once the fork has been separated from the main body. The build quality seems better than most I have experienced in the past. This could be handy tool to keep in the glove box etc. It is small & compact with a decent selection of tools which could prove nice to have on hand in case it's needed. This is great to have on hand for hiking, camping, picnics or even in the lunch bag at work. The metal is not flimsy or easily bent, feels durable. It took me more than a couple tries to figure out the detachable feature. I almost submitted a review about it falling off too easily, but that's because I didn't realize it's only locked in place when folded up. When you extend the fork, you can either slide it out of the grooves to detach or give a slight wiggle and it slips right off. Glad I figured that out before griping about it lol. Great little gadget for the price!

Synopsis:I like it! While not ultralight, they are well made a sturdy. A good value and should last a long time. This will go into my backpack camping gear along with my long spork for pouch meals. Recommended!Initial impressions:Utensils came in a modest but not totally basic box and included a nylon case. The case is nothing special but would help keep them clean and from getting snagged up in other gear. Working parts are stainless and the body is aluminum. Feels solid and well made. A little heavy if you're all in on titanium gear and planning on an Everest ascent, but not that bad for normal camping or backpacking.Use:I really like that the fork detaches from the knife and spoon part. They clip together securely and don't rattle around. The spoon is actually larger than expected but not too big. The fork is smaller but big enough to eat normally and wasn't annoying or an issue. The knife is very sharp, almost could be a multipurpose blade, but I'd keep food tools separate from work tools for hygiene. The knife has a liner lock (see pic), a nice touch! The spoon, fork and cork screw don't lock, but snap into place securely and I had no issues with collapsing. No metal taste or other problems.
