Unbroken Bonds: The Bonds that Tie, Book 6

Overall a goood series
I definitely liked this series, it was refreshing, I loved the compelling characters, and often times I found it hard to put the book down. However, I did find some inconsistencies and plot holes. I was able to forgive them but I think without them, this series would’ve been excellent.Spoilers going forward…..First off while I hated the SA from Nox to Oli, I did think the soul bonding made their relationship push forward. I can understand how Nox being able to see Oli’s life could make him more open to the bonding. I understand the change in him and it’s feasible that he could love her after seeing her life for his own. I know plenty of people wished for there to be an apology but I feel like actions speak louder than words in this scenario. Between Nox showering Oli at the resistance camps, the comforting once everyone knew she killed her parents, and the little things like bringing her coffee, etc. I think Nox showed he was capable of loving Oli.I did however, miss whatever it was that was Oli’s third gift. I assume Nox’s third gift was shadow shifting, but then I wondered why North couldn’t do the same. Or maybe he could and I just missed it.I also felt like Gryphon didn’t have family aside from his sister so I was shocked to see he had a father and a relationship with his mother. Much worse I didn’t see an explanation as to what happened with his mom at the end. I remember her being locked up and then subsequently transferred but they never mentioned whether Gryphon or Kyrie ever forgive their mother. While she wasn’t the best because she chose her husband over her kids, it did seem like she loved her children.I also don’t understand what Oli’s third gift is. I know she has the soul rending and the thing that makes you live your worst nightmares. But I didn’t see anything else. Maybe I’m wrong but I honestly don’t remember.I also didn’t like how things were left with Sage. Why even mention her last bonded if he was unimportant to the story. Also, does Kieran make a full recovery? He was an awesome character and deserved to be mentioned again. Also how does Riley go from not ever going to be the same to being all right? I felt like that was skipped over.My biggest issue is with the Gods. If they knew the whole scenario, what harm was it to tell Nox, Oli, or North. I think it could’ve really helped. All in all I thought the series was amazing. The author did a great job of making compelling and loveable characters. I’m glad I read the series.

Fantastic conclusion!
After the reveal of the true antagonist behind this story and finding out that it is a God-Bond, much like those that inhabit our Bonded group, things get interesting. We meet the last of the 6 God-Bonds, and from all of them, we learn more about their many reincarnated lives where they struggled and failed to find or protect each other from the other God-Bonds. A war that goes back eons is the baseline for the current story, and I love how the author is bringing all these elements together. There is a very end of days vibe to this book. Oli’s Bonded group is stronger than they’ve ever been now that they have all found each other for the first time ever. I enjoy how Oli not only loves the humans she’s Bonded to but the God-Bonds as well, accepting every part of them. Her sexy time with each aspect of her Bonds, whether single or group, is equally enjoyable and dynamic.Oli’s determination and strength through the series is admirable, and her resolution to keep not only her Bonds, but her friends and community safe from the suffering she has seen and experienced herself is endearing. So with her Bonded group and her best friends, they pick off the enemy God-Bonds one by one, strengthening Oli and keeping everyone that much safer with each soul she devours until only the worst baddy is left. The one whe altered the course of her entire life. Oli will face down the worst moments of her life to defeat the Pain-God. The final battle is a fantastic conclusion, and thanks to the epilogue, we know how everything pans out with Sanctuary, families, politics, and, of course, our Bonded group. I love a happy ending with all the loose ends tied into neat little bows. Thank you, J. Bree, for a great story!

Unbroken Bonds
It’s taken me a while to finish this series but it picked up for me after book 2. The world building is interesting and I like the story line. The twists and turns kept coming and I enjoyed the characters’ growths all around. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys why-choose, fantasy, romance. Spicy with plot is perfect.

Finally! The End!
The only bad thing about this series is that I really think it was dragged on for wayyy too long.I totally loved the story during the first 3 books and then the end of it all was just stretched into 3 more books. I struggled very hard not to DNF and took a long break before finally finishing the last 2 books.I’m happy they get their happy ending. They all deserve it. Fitting ending to this plot.

and they all lived HEA
Okay so I loved it a lot. The only thing I could wish for was more of a glimpse into their future in the epilogue. Like does the convo between Oli and gabe at the school play out?! I need answers cause Im greedy that way. The spice in this book tho holy heck. It was top tier. Jbree had me feeling all types of things in a few chapters 🥵🥵 loved the plot but I wish we learnt more about the blood tests and which parents weren’t bonds. Overall though I loved the series and the growth in the characters. It was beautiful to see Nox and Olis bond go through trial after trial 🥹🖤 sad it’s over but excited for Jbrees next masterpiece 🙌🏻💜

Series ☑️
Wow and that’s the series done ☑️ less than 3 weeks to binge all 6 books! That’s definitely the fastest I’ve ever read a series of this length and it’s testament to how much I adored it ❤️These characters are brilliant and I love them all so much for different reasons, even the side characters are great and add depth to the story. Each of the relationships between Oli and her bonded are unique and provide something different in the romance and smut department which makes it even more enjoyable to read. The series handles the reverse harem aspect well and in a believable way, as although it is the norm within the gifted/bonded community to have multiple bonds, there is still an element of jealousy about the amount of time spent together and the adjustment required in learning to share. I’m also glad the author didn’t decide to have Nox fully overcome all his trauma and join the group in the shared sleeping arrangements, it made the situation and emotions attached to it much more realistic.I’m sure every reader will have their favourite bonded and their own reasons for feeling that way but for me, North will forever be my favourite 🖤 I adore how strongly he feels and how caring he is. I also don’t mind his domineering ways 😉In my opinion this series is phenomenal and if you’re a lover of PNR, reverse harem, bonded mates or romantasy with a decent amount of spice, then give this series a try, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 rounded up for Unbroken Bonds.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the series overall.

Absolutely love the books
I read these books as ebooks, but I loved them so much I wanted them on my shelf. 1 to 5 are beautiful with the art on the inside included. This book, number 6, is missing the chapter art from chapter 1 to the end. It's only in the front. I've read some reviews on the American Amazon that have had the same issue and applied for a replacement only to receive it with the same issue. So I think it's something the author needs to fix in the actual file. Chapter 19 is missing formatting of the chapter header too.Again love these books and the author but sad about the quality of this physical copy.

What an ending
I have to say, it’s an amazing series in the end. God, what books the last four were! I cannot imagine being without the Dravens…
