I love this can. Fits full sized bags and the motion sensitivity is perfect and not too loud. A little thing on the plastic. Nothing is broke yet but durability may become a concern in extended use

This can is a lovely salmon pink color made of Durable plastic.The lid goes on/off easily for removing trash. It is also easy to keep clean because you can easily wash in your sink.The auto open/close feature is great. I love it when I'm cooking and have messy hands. I can throw things away without touching anything, minimizing mess and bacteria spreading.I also like that you cannot overfill it. Once it hits the top, it has to be changed or the lid won't close. I have kids who try to cram every last bit in so they don't have to take the trash out. Not with this can.There is an insert to keep the bag in so no more fishing for the top of the bag to tie off. It is also easily removable so it doesn't tear the bag at all.The only thing I will say is that our dog can open it. He has learned if he puts his snout over it, it will pop open and he can grab a little trash snack. He is a dirty little garbage eater. We keep ours in the pantry, so this is rarely an issue, but could potentially be one. You can hear it open and close from another room, so that is a bonus to help keep them out.Overall, a great can.

You will never look at a regular trash can the same and would want to replace all trashcans with this one and will be surprised how you ever were comfortable using a regular trashcan before this one. After a month of using you become spoiled and will never look back. Practical, affordable, trash receptacle of future, hands free, keeps hands sanitary. I don’t know know about these automatic trash cans. This one doesn’t always close on its own. But it’s nice when it works.

I purchased this trash can just a little over a year ago. Not by much. But it stopped working so I installed new batteries thinking ok it’s time b cuz it’s a used part of any kitchen. Turned it back on and nothing. It didn’t open waved my hand back and forth but nothing so rechecked the batteries were in place correctly nothing still so opened a new package of batteries installed them and NOTHING. I was not a happy camper. Spent $40 on this. I got taken. Contacted seller but b cuz I bought it a yr ago they couldn’t help. Apparently they sell no parts like just the lid. So what good is a warranty. So my advice is go to Walmart and by one of their Better Homes and Garden electronic trash cans for $39.99 and I bet u it will last longer than a year and a better warranty. If you buy from this seller be prepared to get We can’t Help you. Buyer BEWARE!!!! Save your money
