Simple exchange
We like the features our HP8620 has and have not seen another model to replace it. So replacing the printer head as the error message stated was not the cheapest option but cured the problem and now works perfectly

Worth the money and easy to install
Do buy this to replace print head from the hp 8600 printer series since I think these all have the same printhead mechanism.I bought this on Monday 7th and it came within less than a week later for my HP 8610 printer.Quite easy to install although the new springs are quite strong inside the printhead ( where the cartridges are held )so i had to load the new carts ( which come with the product) into the new printhead BEFORE replacing the printhead into the printer! The printer is working perfectly fine now( even though I only did this yesterday so lets wait and see).I have kept the old printhead with the cartridges still in it sealed in a plastic bag. This is because the old cartridges can be used again even though they say to throw them away with the old printhead ( read this on the internet). However, I think the printer will give an old cart message when old carts are used- I can live with this. I will not throw the old carts away because I only replaced these about 2 weeks before the printhead failed and the carts cost loads of money. This printhead is not cheap at 140 pounds but it is cheaper than buying a new hp printer at HP 400 pounds or asking a printer engineer to order, come to my house and fix a new printhead at £200 + VAT!

Easy replacement printhead for the third if the cost of a new printer.
If you’ve got one of the HP8600/10/20 series printers and, like me, think they’re brilliant then these genuine HP replacement print heads are a godsend. Why pay £400 for the equivalent current model when for £135 you can change the head and get starter inks too. Also, it means you don’t have to discard any (very expensive) 950/951 inks that you still have.Only go for the genuine HP head, and it takes 2 mins to replace the old unit, and 5 mins for the heads to automatically realign.Keep any half used inks in the old printer head as you can use them later - you just get a warning message when you reinstall them which you can ignore if they’re genuine inks. You HAVE to use the starter inks supplied first to avoid error messages.I didn’t buy through Amazon as it was much cheaper elsewhere, but then if it hadn’t sorted the problem I wouldn’t be able to send it back.

Old printer gets new lease of life!
I bought this based on the reviews after my old printhead failed. 🥂🙏🏻🌟😊 it arrived quickly and saved me from buying a new printer! Had a few nervous moments installing this new printhead. Used HP Scan and Print Doctor plus the on printer screen help to realign the new printhead - it needed 3 reiterations. I kept the faith and my lovely HP Officejet is now working good as new.

Came early works well
The high cost turned out to include a pack of ink which makes the cost of the printhead itself more reasonable. It was reasonably easy to fit. Delivery was a week earlier than forecast.

My Office Jet Pro 8610 lives again!!
I purchased this to replace my original printhead, which became blocked when I used Zambrero ink. The printhead is supplied with a set of genuine HP ink cartridges. Very easy to install.

New printhead kit
My HP Officejet Pro 8600 suddenly stopped printing without any clear explanation of why, but I finally guessed it must be the printhead. It's expensive, but less than replacing the 8600, which has been otherwise faultless and gives great results. Installing the printhead was simple; move the lever, pull out the old printhead, replace with the new one, and restore the lever's position. Worked right away.
