Eurosonic 2m 4-Way Extention Lead with Digital Timer

I use this to control the light timer on my fish tank. I have to admit I wasn't sure when I was purchasing as it had a lot of negative reviews. I unpacked an plugged it in overnight to charge. In the morning the display was blank and I thought it would need returned. I decided to hit the reset button using a paper clip. The display fired up. Been using it for weeks now and has been very reliable. Good product.

Complicated to set up. Haven't managed yet.Maybe suitable for those who can follow complex instructions. It needs a lot of patience.

I wish I had read he reviews and not ordered in a hurry! I have four sets of outdoor Christmas lights which are plugged into a normal 4 way extension which is plugged into to the power inside my shed. Seeing this I thought it would be ideal to save me having to go into the shed to turn of the power every night, sadly this is not so. I feel this is a very badly described item, it leads the buyer to believe that the whole extension is timer controlled and I will be contacting the seller (and manufacturer) directly to express my dissatisfaction.

Only one of the sockets can be timed, so keeping it in mind is a great extension. Been using for several months and still functioning every day with no problems

This is exactly what I wanted. As stated in another review, only one of the four sockets is timer controlled, with the other three being permanently on. Although this isn't made clear in the description I figured it out from the reviews, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I am using it for a fish tank so I can have the lights on timer with the filter and heater permanently running. It also has battery backup so the settings and time are not lost if power is turned off. The clock isn't as accurate as it could be, but it's not too bad, and it does the job. I just have to adjust the time every couple of months or so.

If, like me, you are viewing this item thinking, excellent I can do away with 2,3 or more timers replacing them with one neat power board. Think again, ONLY 1 SOCKET IS UTILISED BY THE TIMER. The rest operate just like a normal power board, that is, on all the time.Now this would be fine if it was stated somewhere in the item description, or in the items instructions. It doesnt. Had I known this I would not have bought the product, as it is, I feel ripped off and mislead.

Good product! easily powerful enough to run a 400w HPS light.My only criticism is the instructions are incomprehensible, reading just one line is enough to give you a migraine.Binned the instructions and figured it out with trial and error.

Perfect for the aquarium! Timed socket for the light and three others for pump, heater and air pump. Fits the gap down the side perfectly with all the leads coming out the same side, unlike the 2x2 adapter that was there before.
