Skill Builders! Letter & Number Maker Classroom Set

This was a big hit! Kept my grandson engaged for over an hour. He didn’t want to stop till he completed every letter, number and shape.

As a literacy teacher, I would recommend this product to parents to use with their children at home. This set is a great way for young children to learn how to form letters. At the current price of about $20 I think this set is great value and would be fun for youngsters at home. It would also make a great learning centre for classroom use.-The pieces are strong and sturdy; I don't see them breaking easily.-Generally good choices for the images on the cards. The letter 'x' for example, is a picture of an 'x-ray' - although I would have preferred a picture of a 'box' or a 'fox' to get the proper x sound, this image is way better than the typical xylophone usually shown. The letter 'e' is an elephant, which is better than the typical 'egg' - usually pronounced with a long A sound - that is normally shown in sets like these.The product is close to perfect but has some room for improvement:-Needs MORE PIECES: There is just a small baggie of building pieces. This amount should be at least doubled. Children should have the opportunity to build multiple letters at once, with the goal of hopefully building their name.-Cards are slightly 'plasticized' but do not have a strong lamination at all. You could very easily bend them. Would recommend laminating them - especially if you want to use with a dry erase marker.-Formation for some letters is slightly 'off' - a better design would have allowed for a straight small line for the lowercase 'e' for example.

These are brilliant! So cute, I can't wait for my grandaughter to be just a bit older!The pieces are smooth and good quality. The clip together nicely. Sturdy. They come with some cards to build the letters and have associated items: I'm really looking forward to spending some good quality time with my grandaughter! H.o.r.s.e.... daadddd......Lovely kit, bold colours, good value, nice tub to keep them all in. 5/5

De la marca learning resources nos ha llegado este set para componer letras y números.El producto se presenta en un bote de plástico transparente donde se pueden ver todas las piezas en su interior y con una tapa en color rosa fucsia con asa, por lo que es muy cómodo una vez que se ha terminado de jugar poder guardar todas las piezas y guardarlo en el interior de un armario.El set está compuesto por 200 piezas, siendo 160 números y letras y las 40 restantes tarjetas que vienen a doble cara y donde se incluyen ejercicios para contar y averiguar diferentes tipos de sonidos; por poner un ejemplo en algunas tarjetas viene que el pequeño tiene que construir la letra "Z" y en la parte izquierda le indica que cantidad de piezas necesitará, así como de que color y tamaño tienen que ser para terminar la tarea con éxito.Es un juguete indicado para niños a partir de los 5 años; es una edad en los que ya empiezan a conocer los números y las letras y pueden divertirse de lo lindo a la par que aprenden componiendo palabras y realizando cálculos sencillos.Realmente es un juguete que me ha gustado muchísimo, porque lo veo muy educativo e instructivo. Tiene mucho colorido y se ve que está realizado con calidad en todo su conjunto.
