Incredibly classy design and amazing quality. And some really great recipes and tips. This made an excellent Christmas gift for a friend.

This book is gorgeous, funny, insightful, and informative. It's a wonderful resource of cocktail recipes but also of the people and places that make the New York cocktail experience so great. You will enjoy simply reading through this cover to cover.

Lots of great info, funs stories and all well written.Makes me want to start making cocktails, go to a fine bar or visit New York City - all indications of a very engaging book!

Great compilation of 100 cocktail recipes, lovely photos and anecdotes about the trendsetting New York Cocktail movement.Highly recommended purchasing.This is the third book in a series, featuring Paris, New Orleans and now New York.Great job, Amanda Schuster; you're an awesome storyteller!

This book is well written with great photography and illustrations. The history of New York cocktails is fascinating. The downside is that most recipes include one or more obscure ingredients that most home bartenders have never heard of. Some of these, I'm guessing, would be hard to find. I would have given this book a five-star rating had it not been for this. Buy if for the history and stories, not the recipes.

This book is Excellent!!Great cocktail book and amazing insight into the New York City cocktail culture.

The book is lovely, but it came damaged due to the packaging not being the best. It was simply in a cardboard envelope so there is damage to the spine and covers, not ideal for a present. Just looks like it has been thrown around a lot!

Apres avoir feuilleté ce livre a New York je l'ai commandé a mon retour, c'est d'abord un bel objet (couverture épaisse avec décorations en relief, mise en page travaillée, jolies photos).Les recettes sont intéressantes mais très élaborées pour la plupart, avec des ingrédients difficiles à trouver.On y trouve également une foultitude d'infos (genèse des recettes, adresses de bars, infos sur des personnalités liés à l'art du cocktail etc.). Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un simple livre de recettes.

Beautiful book but damaged with rips along the spine. I want to exchange but don't want to have to pay to return the damaged item.
