TomTomTomTom 6-inch Universal Carry Case for Start 60/GO 600/6000

Very stylish magnetically sealed bag for my expensive new sat nav, bit pricey but it is certainly much better than the cheap-o options available on amazon. My philosophy is that if you buy cheap things to protect expensive things, you're going to regret that. Although this is a soft bag not a solid bag so really to protect against bumps and scrapes, it serves that purpose well and is quick to get the satnav in an out regularly.

Good sturdy flip top case for carrying, protecting; my Go 6000. The GO fits in easily, into a well cushioned interior. Just as importantly it comes out without fuss as well.Ido keep a spare Power cable in the case as well but am always careful how I place it so as not to scratch the GO.It is not big enough to also carry the window mount etc.Recommended

If you have a 5" tomtom and want to keep the device and cable together in the case you'll need this larger 6" version. The cases only downside is that it doesn't have a zip or zelcro fastening, instead it relies on magnets to keep the case closed and they aren't strong enough for the job. A good looking, well made case, just a shame it doesn't fasten more securely.

There's currently 2 items on this particular listing: the carry case and the charger.This review is for the carry case.Having just purchased the TomTom GO6000 I was looking for a suitable protective case to take the units 6 inch screen and this particular case ticks all the boxes for me.It's sturdy enough and offers sufficient protection for my needs, and I'm also able to include in the case: the sat nav unit, a pen/stylus, usb/car charger and the front flap magnet still comfortably manages to close and secure the case without any problem whatsoever.Consider me Impressed so far.The picture is not brilliant but hopefully it shows what can be fitted inside it.

I bought the case as it was the only one available for my TomTom 6000.As other readers have mentioned it is not as rugged as the cases available with earlier models and I don't think the nav would survive a drop. It does fit rather tight and will help prevent screen scratches, if nothing else. The magnet that acts as a latch has also moved around within the case (to the back) and as such does not 'stick' closed.

Ordered with some trepidation as some reviewers have had poorly fitting examples, pleased to report that the unit we received has the ideal fit, neither too tight or loose. Only enough room for the GO 600 itself but offers adequate protection for out of car storage, glovebox etc.Has a hidden magnetic latch that keeps the fold over cover in place. Good quality finish, no signs of wear or tear after several weeks of hard use, recommended.

I was nothing less than a let down by this product. I owned a 5" case of the same shape and make for last 2 years hence can compare.The box was of a quality expected but when I took the case out of the packaging my jaw dropped...Firstly overall feel: you see is that the sews finishing quality is just not there.Now we get to fit: as far as I know these cases should fit any 6 inch device from Tomtom right? Wrong. My old Tomtom was always sitting snug and tight in the case I owned before. This case you simply slip your Tomtom in the case and it sits loose inside. You could fit a finger or two along the short edge. I do not know if it's the best idea to have a case which if opened allows the protected device to slip outside, which could easily happen if you were not careful.Now we finally land with interior finish - I realised the bottom of the inside is weirdly finished with lots of creased material. It's not about the material quality , it's just the poor finish which looks odd and it nowhere near the finish or quality that I feel Tomtom offers with their accessories.Needless to say it prompted questions whether the item I received are genuine TomTom.5 minutes later I requested a return.

Arrived quickly and is of good quality. It looks great and my Go 6000 fits in it very well. It is a little on the expensive side and there are much cheaper options out there but if you want looks and quality then this is the one to choose.

tengo un tom tom start 40 de 4,3 y esta funda cien perfecto para llevar el cable y el adaptador de mechero del coche....buena calidad del producto y el cierre con imán espectacular

Cette housse fabriquée par Tomtom remplit parfaitement son rôle. De bonne qualité, des matières et une finition au point, un système de fermeture aimantée, elle permet de garder le GPS sur soi, à l'abri, sans s'encombrer du reste (qui lui peut rester dans la voiture).Je ne comprends pas le commentaire de Christophe qui indique que cette housse n'est pas adaptée au GO 6000, c'est l'appareil que je possède et c'est exactement la bonne taille, ni trop grand, ni trop petit, le GPS s'y loge sans forcer. C'est d'ailleurs la housse recommandée par Tomtom sur leur site.En conclusion, une housse un peu chère, mais la qualité est là.

Encantada con la funda, no la compré para un GPS sino para protecer mi DAP, y ha sido todo un éxito, adiós a los roces e incluso creo que lo protegería de una caída... Me encanta el sistema de cierre con imanes en lugar de la omnipresente cremallera... Lo volvería a comprar sin duda!El servicio de Amazon, como siempre, de 10, entrega incluso antes de lo esperado.
